Carrie Meets Pennywise

No More Hiding

After Carrie ran out of the woods while  still holding the toddler  tightly to her, people right away notice her because of this making her slow down as soon as everyone started to crowd around her, she eventually heard the mother push through crowd and take the her son out her out her arms and held on him tightly as she cried in relief.

She looked at Carrie and then hugged her tightly with her free arm while thanking her as she cried catching Carrie off guard.

Carrie then could see her see her grandmother along with Mike getting closer looking confused and shocked by the turn of events, she could even see the boy she was talking to her earlier looking a little surprised as well.

The police had arrived after Carrie ran off into woods to face Pennywise and began to question Carrie about what in the woods she answered them turthly but left out the parts about the clown not being human or about her powers, it's not like they would believe her if she did and though the toddler wasn't the best at explaining he could make out it was a "Scary Clown" which backed up her story,

The police searched the woods and the park for the clown but found nothing which didn't surprise Carrie, he had doing this and munipulating this town for hundreds of years.

Carrie gandmother hugged her tightly after she learned what, she was both proud but horrified that her granddaughter could have been a victim too which ended making her praise and scold her granddaughter the same time, which made Carrie happy but feeling remorse that worried her grandmother.

It has been a week since then and the town feared it had  another John Wayne Gacy So they made a curfew and made it so if a child went outside they would have to be with a adult.

"Are you ok Carrie" a small voice said snapping get out her daze making her look down to see Jessie who was holding her hand as they walked down the street.

"Yea just tried..." she said as she smiled weakly at her.

Carrie inteaded to keep her promise about never letting Pennywise another kill another child, but she was only person against a old and powerful interdemensional demon, even though she had powers there was only so much she could do but by keeping Jessie in her plain of sight she knew she could protect her.

The little girl was overjoyed when Carrie agreed to finally go outside with her but her grandmother was against it espeacily since Jessie or Carrie shouldn't be outside without an adult.

But Carrie quickly reminded her grandmother that she was 18 making her an adult and which meant Jessie could go with her as well making her grandmother accept defeat reluctantly.

They were going to hed over the library where Carrie was going to read to Jessie and along the way saw more missing posters making her stop.

"One of the kids missing was in my class....the school has been freaked out lately" Jessie said quietly.

Carrie looked at her and then back to the posters grimly she didn't even notice that let go of her hand to follow a red balloon in a daze that was leading her into the street Carrie reached out for her hastely and in fear but someone picked up the little girl and placed her back in the sidewalk before she could, once he turned around she could see he was a little bit older then her with bright blue eyes and dirty blonde hair.

"Oh thank you!.. um..."Carrie said in relief.

"Grey, Robert Grey" he said with big bright smile.
