"Alright." The man says as he drops our struggling bodies to the ground. "What you'll first need to learn is how to fight, properly." He says with emphasis on the "properly". It's not our fault, we're street rats. It's not like we purposely start fights.

"Oh ya? How do you expect us to do that? Or even listen to you? You kidnaped us!" Rivio yells at him. "Well kid as I see it you weren't exactly kidnaped. You were taken to a place to repay me for stealing my livelihood. Do you know how long it takes to get the meats that good? Or how much I make a day off it? I need it because it's the only thing I can make Lien off of. Well now that might change, depending on how you act."

He turns on the lights showing us that the room we were in was at some point a training area. Punching bags and other equipment lie around for use. "At one point this place was busy. Now it's a relic that I still call home. You will learn to fight, and when you do you'll be entered in The Arena."

"What's that?" I ask as he walks to a set up in the corner where he hooks up some wires. A projection pops up and we see people with weapons fighting others, even fighting Grimm. "The Arena is where people enter or get entered to fight in a caged area against Grimm, or humans and Faunus. You have to learn to fight so you'll survive in there."

"And why are you trying to put us in it huh!? We won't do it!" Rivio says crossing his arms over his chest. "Look kid" the man says as he grabs Rivio by the collar lifting him up "you think I'd be doing this if there were other options? You stole from me. The Lien I was going to make from that food would help me pay off a debt to The Arena's owners. But you went and stole it so now where stuck here, having both our heads on the chopping block."

He drops him down and sets up 2 chairs in front of the projection. He sits us down and has us watch various fights and weapons. I feel this will be the start of something dangerous for us all. Like he said we all have our necks on the line right now. A loud knocking comes on the door rapidly. He goes over opening it.

"Well, if it isn't our favorite man. Hello Mr.Rosan. How have you been?" "Good to see you Mr.Graves, Mr.Grant. I was just about to call you in regards to the mentioned debt." They push him aside, looking around. Mr.Rosan seems nervous as they walk in with 4 others, probably bodyguards.

"I sure hope you were Kane, because if you don't have any news regarding that money then hahaha. Well we have to do something that we wouldn't enjoy... oh who am I kidding, we would definitely enjoy it. But you wouldn't. Now, where is our money?" Graves says in his face, holding a knife up to his throat. "Well Mr.Graves, they're over there." He says pointing to us.

Grant and Graves come in front of us, examining us closely as if we were under some microscope. "Now I think I know what your trying to do here Kane old friend. But do you honestly think some scrawny street rats would survive?"

"Not as they are now. But give me time, say... a year at most, 6 months at the least, and they will fight and get your money back the old fashioned way." Kane says. Graves starts to laugh, then he smiles widely. "You see guys? This is why I love this guy. He thinks like us and does anything to pay his debt. You got yourself a deal Kane. 8 months, and by then they will be fighting."

Grant chimes in. "What are there names? We will put them on the list for a good starter match when they're ready." Kane looks to us, expecting an answer. "Rivio." Riv says next to me. "I'm his brother Ash." I say softly. "That's that part, now last names." We look to each other in confusion. "We don't have one."
