Arlisha's POV

"Beep! Beep! Beep!"

My alarm blasted all loud and stuff. I reached out on my end table to press snooze but then remembered it was on my computer desk. I had did this purposely last night so that I wouldn't have a choice but to get up. Last night, it sounded like a good idea. Right about now, I felt so stupid.

I slowly got up out of my bed and started stretching with a yawn. Then I slowly walked to my desk and slammed my fist of the alarm making the noise shut up. It was 6:45. This is not a way to wake up in the morning.

Since this was my first day I decided I could at least go on time, which is why I did all of this. I pulled out some tight fitting black skinny jeans and a strapless black and white stripped shirt from Forever21.

I walked into my bathroom and turned the shower water on hot. I wrapped my hair up and put a shower cap on then jumped in. I was in there for about 15 minutes then I got out.

After getting dressed I flat ironed my hair leaving it down and put on some black mascara and some black hoops earrings. First impression is the best right?

I walked back into my room and grabbed my black Dickies backpack and put on my black converse. I checked the time on my galaxy and it was 7:20. It didn't take that long. I headed downstairs and smelled pancakes from the kitchen.

I walked in to see my mom getting her things ready and Shana eating pancakes. My mom had her hair tied in a tight bun and was wearing one of the uniforms they gave her. "Good morning momma." I said giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Morning Lishana."

"Hey." Shana said finishing her food and putting her plastic plate in the trash.

"Are you hungry Arlisha?" My mom asked. "Naaw not really. I'll eat when I get there." I told her. She just nodded.

"Alright let's go. I have to take you to school and then take Shana to daycare, then come back and be back in time for work." She explained. We just listened and all walked outside towards the car.

I heard a door close shut from next door. I looked and coincidentally Drew was just walking out. When he saw me he smiled. "Hey Mrs. Hills. Hey Lisha and

Shana." He said with a grin as he walked over towards us.

My mom smiled widely and so did Lishana. I just looked at him. "Hi Drew, how are you?" My mom asked.

"Oh I'm good, just on my way to school. How about you?" He asked still with a grin on his face. Who is this dude trying to please? "Going to take the girls to school then back here to work with your grandfather. Running a little late on time, but good." She explained.

"Oh, I can Arlisha a ride. I mean we go to the same school." He said to her. "Oh

I think she would love that." My mom said. I rolled my eyes. "No, what I would love is if you guys stopped talking about me like I wasn't in the room." I said matter of factly.

Drew ran his hands through his brown hair and stood up straight. "Well my badness. Would you like to ride to school with me?" He asked with a smirk. I looked from him to my mom. She had that look that said 'you better say yes'.

"Whatever." I said walking past him.

"Thank you Drew. She is just a little difficult some times." I over heard my mom tell him. Yeah I bet. I thought. I heard the car door close and the car speed off.

I turned around to just see Drew walking towards me. "It's the 745 parked in the driveway. It's already opened." He told me. I nodded and started walking up his driveway until I saw his beamer. It was so beautiful. It was black and shiny and looked brand new.
