Did I startle you? { Juuzou x Reader }

The Owl Operation - Preperation

-Before we start this is basically the season finale for Tokyo ghoul:A (but it isn't a finale for the book) I've made a change where Shinohara doesn't die cos i think we all know we love Shinofarta ;3 Enjoyy :3-

You wake up the next morning at 4:00am. The mission doesn't start until 4:00pm, but its better to be ready, plus you have to get there first, and its a loooong bus ride....

You get out of bed, trying not to disturb Juuzou, you could tell he was having a nightmare, it made you feel bad somehow even though it was just a dream, you stroke his cheek until he looks like the nightmares gone away. You continue to walk to the bathroom to get changed. 

The CCG gear is really light... Is this even enough to protect me and Juuzou? And why does everyone else have huge heavy metal for Armour..?

You make some waffles for when Juuzou wakes up, You didn't know if he preferred chocolate spread or maple syrup so you out both on his waffles. You didn't notice he was there until you fell a pair arms wrap around your waist and a head rest on your shoulder.

Juuzou: "Morning, *Yawn* what ya up to??"

He looks down at the waffles you were making for you and Juuzou and starts getting excited.

You: "Why don't you see yourself? Here!"

You hand him a plate of waffles and you two sit down to eat it.

Juuzou takes a bite out of the waffle and smiles.

Juuzou: "These are delicious!! You're a really good cook (y/n)!"

You: "Awh thanks! I didn't know which topping you liked so... i kinda went crazy with them.."

Juuzou: "I'm glad you did! There are amazing!!!"

You two smile at each other as you eat your meal.

Juuzou: "(Y/n)..."

You: "Yweawh???" You say with your mouth full.

Juuzou: "Why are you even awake at this time in the morning?"

You: "I could say the same thing to you!"

Juuzou: "Judging by I was woken up by 'someone' stroking my cheek, I think you should have a explanation for that!"

You freeze. Crap, you woke him up..

You: "Well you didn't say anything about it!"

Juuzou: "Hey! I kinda liked it! Your hand is really soft okay?!"

You blush at his remark. You both knew that you couldn't stay mad at each other.

You: "Oh okay, haha!"

He notices that you're wearing your Armour already and starts looking worried.

You: "Are... you okay?"

Juuzou: "..."

You notice that he's seen you wearing the CCG Armour and you walk up to him and hugs him

You: "Juuzou..."

You feel a bit of water on your shoulder, where Juuzou was resting his head. Juuzou was crying, you had never seen him this scared and emotional before.

You: "Juuzou, i promise everything will go well today, I wont leave your side, okay?"

He hugs you back and smiles a bit.

Juuzou: "Thank you (y/n), to be honest, i'm not letting you go that easily."

You: "Same goes for you!"

Juuzou breaks the hug and walks to the bathroom to also change into his gear.

Juuzou: "Before we set off, why don't we watch Netflix?"

You: "Sure!"
