You and Juuzou were just about to eat your meal at home as Shinohara calls Juuzou.
Juuzou: "Gotta take this, it's Shinohara!"
You nod and smile.
Juuzou: "Hey sir!-... Wait what?! No! She's not going on the mission!!"
He ends the call out of rage and eats his meal. To be honest he sounded really aggressive so you stay silent throughout the meal to make sure you don't make his mood worse.
Juuzou: "What's up (y/n)?"
You: "Oh, nothing...."
Juuzou: "You're scared because i shouted at Shinohara aren't you?"
You nod slightly and Juuzou takes your hand.
Juzzou: "Sorry, it's just Shinohara is making us fight a really dangerous ghoul, and last time we tried to defeat it, we lost 80 men, we only came with 120!!"
What the hell?! Am I so helpless and innocent that i can't work at my job without being spoken for?!
You: "Are you saying you think i'm too weak to handle myself?!"
Juuzou: "What?! No! I just don't want you to get hurt, that's all."
You: "Juuzou! It's my job! You can't just hide me from it forever!!"
You become really angry. Juuzou could tell you were really upset with him. But he put his foot down.
Juuzou: "YES I CAN AND IF I WANT TO I WILL, I'M NOT LETTING YOU GET FUCKING HURT AND YOU CAN HATE ME AS MUCH AS YOU WANT!"
Juuzou stands up and leaves the room angrily, while getting up Juuzou pushed the table to scratch your stomach, making it bleed.
Juuzou: "Omg! I'm so sorry (y/n)!!"
You stayed silent and open eyed, trying to figure out what just happened. The truth was, you were too scared to be around Juuzou. You jump off the chair and run outside, into the alleyway. As always, Juuzou followed you, he didn't make any noise he just watched you and you didn't see him. A tear rolls down your cheek as you slide to the ground on a wall.
You: "W-why can't he just trust me not to get myself killed? I-i'm not that irresponsible am I?"
You: "H-he's s-so scary when he's angry... I need to stay out of his way i guess...."
Juuzous Pov
God... what have i done? She's so scared of me now..
He sits there as he look at (Y/n) crying equally as much.
Why am I like this? She's just like me in every way, I guess if i can go on a mission and not get killed (y/n) can..? Plus i'm there if she needs me...
I should get home and treat her to something nice.
Juuzou walks home.
Back to your pov.
You slowly walk home, after killing a few ghouls of course and when you walk through the door, Juuzou hugs you tightly.
Juuzou: "I'm so sorry for being a dick earlier... I'm just so scared to lose you (y/n), I love you so much, if anything happened to you i would never forgive myself. I've realized now, your just like me... and if I can survive, you can too, You can go on the mission."
You feel water on your shoulder, Juuzous crying for you, you grab his collar and kiss him passionately.
You: "Thank you, I love you!"
Juuzou: "I love you too!"
