"Look" I tap Maria on the hand. Her head shoots up as her hazel eyes scan the school cafeteria where once agian I smile helplessly leaning on the palm of my hand as I watch him stroll in confidently. A sigh escaped breathlessly and happily and and the same time I guided my best friends head toward the back of the  cafeteria.

I stare with a smile. Andrew Harvey, eighteen, senior, school's bad boy, and my secret crush that I surely would never, ever have a chance with.

Maria chuckles knowing and pulls her face away from my hand and takes another bite of her sandwich. "You know, he will never notice you if you just sit here and stay quiet?"

I roll my eyes and snatch the chip packet off her tray as I glance over at Andrew table where he is mucking around with his friends; I blush at the sight of him and my grin spreads even wider, somehow he always manages to put a smile on my face for no reason at all.

"I'm not quite - I'm loud when I want to be," I say stuffing some chips in my mouth making Maria laugh.

"Everyone knows you're the most fun and loudest person and you don't care what anyone thinks of you. But every time he comes along, you go quite and pretend your well - someone else" she huffs, suddenly very annoyed.

I look at her with disbelieve and she nods her head.

"No, Maria. I'm so loud. Ask Liv and Diana" I say standing up, Maria shook her head, in disagreement not spearing one single glance. I huff in annoyance and tapped her shoulder roughly causing her to look up at me with a glare, she nudged my hand away.

"Ok fine. I dare you to shout penis as loud as you can" she challenged. My eyes widened and I gaped at her, Maria always knew I could take a dare but never involving a crowd of people and especially humiliating myself in front of my crush, she knew I was never going to accept that dare.

But today, I will. Just to prove that I, in fact, am the loudest person in this school, and have absolutely never changed based on a guy nor, shame in what I'm about to do.

I chuckled nervously taking a feared bite of my pizza in my hand, Maria only smirked knowing that she would prove me wrong she shrugged smiling. Her challenge and her doubt in me had lit an irritating spark in me and it only encouraged me more. Without a thought I stood tall and marched up onto the middle of the round table causing heads to turn.

The people around my table all looked up at me, confused and dumbfounded by my action I nodded in reassurance. From the bottom of my lungs and to the top of my heart I held my breath and exclaimed with the in the most loudest way possible.

"PENISSS!" I scream.

Everyone has stopped what they were doing as all heads turn towards me with some confused, amused and discussed emotion. Regardless I smirk satisfied with the silence and laughs, when my eyes land on Andrew.

My smirk fell and only now do I realize did I catch the attention of my long time cliche crush. For those thirty seconds our eyes locked and never in my life did I fall into a bit of embarrassment ever so quickly.

"Andrew will give it to ya!" one of Andrew's friends yelled. The whole cafeteria burst into laughter and my cheeks fired up, Andrew spread a smirk and shoved him to the ground as he looked my way, I smirked confidently when he gives me a challenging smirk along with a wink.

Dumbfounded, I look back down at Maria with wide eyes and a bright blush on my face. She gasped and began to laugh hysterically along with the whole school, now I didn't know whether she was laughing at what Ray had said, or how my face had magically turned into a tomato.
