Ding!
Ding!
An ear-splitting sound came to my ear. It was time to eat. So I went over to able and sat down. I opened my tin of rations and started eating some crackers. I looked to my right to see Flight Sergeant Ferremden walking towards my table. He was smiling at me enthusiastically.
"Hi!" he said.
"Hi"
"Are you having fun in the Army ?"
"Yes"
"Well everyone else knows the Airforce is better"
"Yeah right"
"You could always join us"
That I thought about for a minute. Actually it would be better than being in the army. But I couldn't.
"General Fiends will get mad at me if I left"
"Not on my watch"
He winked at me and walked off.
5 Hours Later...
"Alright Team,are you ready?"
There was silence...Sergeant Young put his head in his hands. He had just been explaining what we were going to do when we left camp and went to where the German battlefield was. Last battle they had retreated but thus time we were going to them! Even though Sergeant Young's voice gets annoying after hours of him droning on and on, I feel sorry for him because no one was listening to him and he was just wasting his time and breath.
Sergeant Young walked off and grabbed a very large rifle. Everyone gasped."If you aren't going to listen then just do this!"
He fired a lead bullet and it tore through the back of the 'room'. Well we weren't in a room,we were in a large tent.
Suddenly, General Fiends pointed to Sergeant Young and shouted,"To my office NOW!"
Again I don't think it was an actual office just a tent.
