Amorentia (cause this hasn't been done 1000 times)

Sirius p.o.v (6th year)
Potions was boring. I sat one arm propped on the desk the other doodling random band logos or snitches (or Moonys name, merlin he was gorgeous. What!) I was half-listening to James yappering on about Lily and Slughorn droning on about some potion called 'Amorentia'.

"Now if you would turn to page 96 and collect the ingredient to make the Amorentia potion!" Slughorn called out.

"Ughhhhh Prongggssssss get the ingredients please" moaned Sirius

"Ugh Padfoot stop gaping at moony and actually listen for once!" James explained

"ha! Like you listen deer Merlin!" I barked back, standing up and staggering to the potions cupboard where everyone was fighting over ingredients. I sighed.

"Ah hello Moony" I said relaxing my arm on the taller boys shoulder. "What are you doing here?"

"What does it look like Sirius!" He said huffing, obviously he was still grumpy from the full moon the night before.

I said "well moonykins I guess I'll see you when you stop being grumpy then" moving my arm away and collecting the ingredients quietly.

What Sirius didn't see was Remus' guilty face for snapping at his friend, and a look of need on his face.

Later that night

Remus sat onto the sofa beside Sirius

"Sirius. I'm sorry for snapping at you earlier, it wasn't right for me." Remus spoke quietly.

Sirius looked at Remus, their eyes locked for a second and he looked away towards the fire.

Both boys had come out as gay in 5th year, it was obvious that they were in love with each other but didn't know it, the way they looked at each other, they way the flinched when one accidentally touched one another and then locked eyes.

Many people placed bets on them. Even rumours McGonagall and Dumbledore were betting. Sirius and Remus were very obviously oblivious to this whole scheme.

James p.o.v

"Evans! Evans! I need to speak to you! It's important." I hopped over the armchair and sat on the edge facing her.

"What? Come to bully me again Potter?!" She spat but not angrily.

"No, it's about Remus And Sirius of course! They need to be together!" James mimicked by shoving his fingers together and apart again.

"Will you stop it!" Lily exclaimed pulls his fingers apart, James shivered at the touch. "Fine I think I have a plan, what about the potion we made today? Amorentia. Make them sniff it and when they obviously smell each other's scents they will fall in love and kiss!"

"Sure." James wondered. I wonder what lily would smell? Me or the horrible snivellus

"Well potions is tomorrow and we will be trying out the Amorentia then! Settled." Lily went back to her charms essay.

Potions Remus p.o.v

Today we were trying out the potions we made the day before. James and lily kept staring between me and Sirius then smirking. It was very agitating. Sirius kept looking up at me and we would lock eyes.
