Paw Patrol Meets Minecraft

Chapter 24: Unexpected

While the armies of evil continued making plans of what they would do. The Order had successfully managed to get a safe distance away from them, now the Order was having a small moment of silence and a few words to those who perished trying to defend their home. Especially Sword.

Zack: He was a great soldier and always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need...... he was the kindest...... the most caring...... the most adventurous...... and above all...... a Hero to the Order.

When Zack had finished stating this, most of the Order were crying for both their loved ones and their hero who gave them another chance to fight another day. Even Ryder and the pups were sad but it affected Chase and Skye the most. Sword had built a very close bond to Skye as she reminded him of his pup last time and to suddenly lose him, was like a family member taken away from you. Chase couldn't stand seeing Skye this upset. It was most likely the saddest she has ever been in her life. Chase did try to comfort her; true Skye did feel a little better when Chase was around but the feeling was too great. Ryder and the rest were sad too but they knew that they had to go on without him and that there was nothing that could be done about it.

After about five minutes, Zack gave out orders to the whole army to move out knowing that they couldn't stay here for long or else they would be found out. While they were moving, Chase stood near to Skye knowing that it helped to ease some of the sadness within her. Skye, did in fact wanted Chase to be with her but right now, she just wanted some time alone.

Skye: Chase...

Chase: Yes?

Skye: Do you mind if I just had some time by myself?

Chase: Sure Skye, no problem.

Chase didn't want to leave Skye but she did ask for it so he left. Meanwhile Zuma was starting to feel a little uneasy and that uneasiness soon changed into anger and then he dashed towards Chase before yelling.

Zuma: This is all your fault Chase!

Chase, shocked by the tone of his voice, immediately tried to defend himself.

Chase: What are you saying?

Zuma: Look around you! Do you see how upset they are?!

Chase: What does that got to do with me?

Zuma: If you had obeyed Ryder in the first place then none of this would have happened!

Chase: But I didn't know what the cost of doing that was.

Zuma: That is why you should never have taken the risk!

Chase: But...

Zuma: You have led us all to an attack from Herobrine, to Skye getting hurt and even to the loss of Sword!! Yet you still think that is fine!?

Chase: I don't Zuma... I really don't.

Zuma: You know what, I think that it is best you leave!

Chase: What?

Zuma: Nobody needs you! Leave before you cause more problems!

Chase: I...

Zuma: Just leave! And be done with it!

Hearing this, Chase took a few steps back before turning and dashing away into the forest nearby. Nobody heard the commotion as they were both at the ranks and far beyond hearing range. Even Skye didn't hear that nor Ryder and the rest of the pups. After a few minutes Zuma's anger began to relieve and now he was regretting that he said that.

Zuma: What have I done?
