Chapter 31: Boxed In

After Cloud returned with Skye, the Order continued their journey to... nowhere. All the Order was trying to do now was to just get a good, safe distance from the dreaded Chaos Empire as well as Herobrine. Ryder and the other pups were happy to see Skye unharmed and Skye was happy to see them though she was still mad at Zuma and thus, did not talk to him. Skye was still worried about Chase and refused to believe that he was dead. Shadow was now constantly with the pups, protecting them and at the same time trying to ease their fears. After two more hours of walking, Zack halted the army for an hour rest and refreshment. After sending some Shadowraths to scout the land around them, Shadow returned to where the pups were at and decided to have a word with them.

Shadow: Hey guys.

Ryder: Hey Shadow, another rest period again?

Shadow: Yea, no news about Chase?

Ryder: *sadly* Not yet...

Shadow: Oh. Anyways how's Skye?

Ryder: As in?

Shadow: How is she?

Ryder: She's fine. Though she might be still worried for Chase.

Shadow: Those two from what I saw, get along really well.

Ryder: Yea, I know.

Shadow: Can I have a word with the pups?

Ryder: Sure, why not?

Shadow: Can you ask them to meet me at the small hill over to the right in ten minutes?

Ryder: Ok.

After ten minutes, Shadow went over to the hill where Ryder, the pups and Jake sat on some wood blocks.

Shadow: Are we all here?

Ryder: All except Humdinger.

Shadow: What about him?

Ryder: He wanted to stay with his kittens.

Shadow: Never mind him. Let's begin.

Shadow knew what he needed to tell Ryder, and he knew that it was not going to be good. He took in a deep breath and began.

Shadow: Look, I hate to break it to you all, but I'm afraid that...

Shadow looked away for a second before continuing.

Shadow: That, we are not going anywhere.

Jake: Wait, so... if where're not going anywhere for this past few days, then where exactly are we heading?

Shadow: Away. The battle that we recently have had has taken a very great toil amongst our people.

Ryder: What is that supposed to mean?

Shadow: That means that we are not intending to fight back anymore, but rather we're just running.

Everest: Can't we just go back to the base?

Shadow: We could if we weren't so far away.

Everest: Oh...

Rocky: There must be another way, right?

Shadow: I'm afraid that there isn't.

Ryder: So, what are we actually doing?

Shadow: We are just going to keep on running until they find us, or we somehow find help.

Marshall: What are the chances for both options?

Shadow: The chances are eighty percent to twenty.

Ryder: Wait, does that mean that we are only just running and not really doing anything?

Shadow: Yes.

Ryder: Maybe the Chaos won't be able to find us out here, but Herobrine's enderman's might.

Shadow: What are you saying?

Ryder: I'm saying that the Endermans can teleport to one place in just a second and Herobrine has over a hundred which means that he can find us within seconds.

Shadow: Hmm, if that's the case, then I'll report this matter to Zack. Hopefully he could do something.

Skye: I really hope so.

Shadow: Thank you for your time. I must now report this to Zack.

Shadow left the area while Ryder, his pups and Jake resumed whatever they were doing.

Zack gave the move on order to get the people moving again. After thirty minutes of traveling, they ended up on the plains, a really open one. They had past by many plains during the past few days and this one seemed normal, just much bigger but there was something that set this plain apart. The grass before them have been trampled like it has been stamped over by many armies...... many armies?!

Zack: Everyone! Back!

Just as the Order was about to move out of the plains from where they came from, at least two hundred endermen teleported behind them and placed down chaos's deads and skeleton archers, then disappeared and reappeared with more. Just then, ghosts started to appear from the left side from where the Order was standing while Medusa's Chaos took up the space in front of them, to the right appeared the Enderdragon with his ender army while Herobrine took the back. The Order was completely surrounded with no means of escaping.

Shadow: This is it I guess.
