I open the first page and the first thing that greets me is a photo of Fluttershy and I at the park. Then I remember the camera I gave her. She took thousands of photos. I flip through the book and more photos fill my eyes. Fluttershy eating ice cream, the time Fluttershy flew into a wall, me in my leather jacket, both of us playing ball, Angel eating a stick of celery, and the one that got to me the most, a picture of us smiling together in front of the stairs.
I close the book and find a note on the back. I begin to read it.
"Dear Daddy,
"I don't think you know yet but I know about the inevitable. The fact that my time here is limited is not a surprise to me but the fact that I won't die here is. In case my departure back to Equestria, I've written this note for you.
"I want to thank you for being the best dad a mare could have and for treating me like a friend. I don't know what life will be like without you, but I do know this: I will always love you. To express how true this is, I'm giving you this book of photos I took during my time here. I hope you will cherish this book as much as I did for you.
"Your daughter, Fluttershy."
