Gray Fullbuster x Natsu Dragneel (YAOI)

Why him?

Lucy's p.o.v -

I just opened my eye and the first thing I see is Natsu and Cladius.  "Natsu..."

'Whats wrong with him? Somethings not right. Is he falling?' 

My eyes widened at the sight before me.  Natsu's bleeding... bad...and falling to the ground.

Cladius is right in front of him.  His gaint sword pointing to the ground on his left side.  He swang his sword. It looks like he's badly injured.

"...NATSU!?!"

I jump up off the ground and run towards him.

"Natsu...Natsu...get up...Natsu!?!"

I'm trying to get him up but blood is spreeding all over the ground.

What do I do?!? He's dying.  Im looking everywhere trying to find help.

When I look to the forest I could faintly see a figure emerging from the shadows.  I look closer to see if it was a person.  It was.

I was going to yell towards the figure before I hear a voice from the direction of the person.

"Are you ok Lucy?!?"

Who is this person and how does he know my name.  He finily emerged from the shadows running towards us. "Gray?!?"

Gray's p.o.v. -

I walked out of the forest to see two people on the ground and blood flowing around them.  Wait is that...Lucy.

I walk toward her and called out to her.  When I got closer I stopped dead in my tracks.  The sight before me made my heat stop immediately and my eyes gaped open.  'No...no...'

"NATSU!?!"

I started to run as fast as I could to get to Natsu.  He can't die...I want let him die.

I dropped right to my knees and throw my hands over Natsu's wound.  So much blood he may actually die here.

"What happened to him Lucy?" I yelled to her in anger.

"I'm not sure I was unconsious just a while ago.  I opened my eyes and he was falling to the ground.  I think the beast we where fighting cut him with his gaint sword."

I immediately turned looking at this so called beast.  It was running right towards us now.  I jumped to my feet and told lucy to try and stop the bleeding.

"ICE-MAKE LANCE!"

A gaint ice spear appear in my hands and I throw it as hard as i could.  It pierced the beast right in its eye.  A huge earpiercing scream came from the beast in agonizing pain.

"ICE-MAKE SWORD"

A gaint sword made of ice appearred in my hands.  I charge right for the beast how had just pulled the spear out of his eye.  The best runs towards me and we swing our swords.

Our swords clash together and now its all about strenght.  The beast using all its might to push its sword down and I my sword up.  If I move I'm dead.  Just stay stronge I'll be fine.

Finilly I got enough strength to push the beast.  It stombles to regain its balance and I struck him.  Right in the same area he had struck Natsu.

(Auther Note: I'm going to makeup some moves because I don't remember many of Grays.)

"ICE-MAKE ICE STORM!" A huge ice shower falls down upon the beast piercing and cutting the beast all over its body.

The beast stombled back a little but regained balance quickly.  He reached for the ice spear stuck into its side and rips it out.  Blood poured feom its wound.  The beast charges for me.

"ICE MAKE CANNONS."  Two gaint cannons form beside me.  The beast still charging forward.  'Boom' the cannons fire.  The first chunck of ice hit the beast in the gut.  Right next to the wound on his side making it bleed even more.  The second one hit the beast straight in the face braking his nose.

The beast jumped back and stared at me for a second before he reliesed I was about to make another attack.

"ICE MAKE..."  I was cut off halfway through the spell when I noticed the beast running away in fear.  I watch it run away for a second to make sure it wasn't coming back anytime soon then turn and run back to Natsu still lying in a pool of blood.

"It won't stop bleeding Gray.  He's dieing."  Lucy screams at me with tear stained eyes'and trembleing body.  I grabed her hands and removed them from Natsu's wound.

(Im going to go a bit into detail about the wound so if you dont like seeing blood or reading about it dont read the next paragraph. Thanks for understanding.)

'It looks really bad.  Its really deep.  I need to se if anything vitaul is damaged.'  I pull my shirt off and dab the wound to reveal the inside of the wound only for a second but it was enough time to see the damage.  The beast most of swang its sword really fast to not brake any bones but instead sliceing the top of the ribs.  (meaning there is a gash on each of his ribs from the sword.)  No organs seem to be damaged but theres lots of cut blood vesals and damaged tissue that may take a long while to heal.

I placed my hands on his wounds and start to freeze his wound until we can reach the guild.  "This might not hold the whole way home so we'll have to stop to re-ice the wound."

"Ok but we cant take the train with him like this and your not wearing a shirt either." Lucy exclaimed.  I turn and look at her with Natsu's arm pulled over my neck and my hands holding him up.  "Then we'll rent a vehicel."

After getting the 'magical-mobel' I place Natsu it the back seat and Lucy climbs in to watch over him.  I hooked myself up to the vehicel and let my magic energy start the engine and where off.

As we where headed to the guild so many questins invaded my mind like, 'Why did this have to happen?  How could I let them go alone? Why didn't they let me help?  Why did this have to happen to him?'
