Gray Fullbuster x Natsu Dragneel (YAOI)

Why?

Gray's p.o.v-

The water arrow disappears as soon as it hits. The pain is intense but I stand my ground. I can't let anything happen to him.

I slowly look back at him to make sure he's ok. I am grateful to see that he isn't hurt physically again but mentally I know he's shattered that I was hurt saving him.

"You idiot! I would've been just fine without your help Gray!" He yells.

I smile weakly and chuckle softly holding my bleeding side.

"You couldn't have done anything with your injuries." I say as best I can.

"Gray my love!" Juvia yells regretfully as she has hurt her love.

"This is your fault! It's always you Natsu! You deserve to die!" She yell at him.

She starts to charge for him. As I go to get in front of him again to attack he gets right beside me.

Our magic fuses together. My Ice Burbage and his Fire Dragon Roar.

The fire and ice spin together as it heads for her. On impact she's sent flying backwards and disappears into the trees.

I look over at Natsu and he looks at me. My blue eyes meet his black ones.

The sparks form and the deep connection of our undying love are show in them.

I love this man so much it practically hurts.

And I am so happy he feels the same for me.

I want to take his hand but the cold takes over and darkness falls over the world.

Natsu's p.o.v-

Gray drops to the ground in a heap. I drop to my knees and hold him.

"I need help!" I yell out to the others as they run out quickly.

We take Gray inside and I wait outside till they fix him up.

"You know. Gray did the same thing for you when you where in there. He never did leave your side once." Lucy says as she walks over to me.

"Really?" I say as I can't believe he actually stayed by my side.

"Yeah. He told me that he has feelings for you Natsu. He loves you so much." She said with a smile.

"Yeah" I smile, "and I love him so much as well."

"He'll pull through. He wouldn't leave you alone." She said while placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah. Thanks Lucy." I say and smile brightly at her.

"I'll let you be. But I know they'll be done soon. It's Gray after all." She smiles.

"Yeah. See ya Lucy." I watch her walk away.

**a little while later**

The doors finally open up and I rise to my feet slowly as I'm still healing.

"How is he!?" I ask impatient now.

"He's doing fine now. He's awake but out of it a little." Porlyusica says.

I rush in and see him staring at the ceiling. I slowly walk over and sit next to his bed in a chair.

"Gray?" I ask worriedly.

He slowly turns his head and smiles at me.

"Hey man." He says with a rough voice.

"How you feeling?" I ask with a little less worry.

"Could be better." He shrugs weakly.

"I guess so." I chuckle slightly as my wound is still fresh.

"What about you? Are you ok?" He asks me with worry.

"I'm good. Healing good too." I lie because I'm really hurting all over from my injury and seeing the man I love more than anything in so much pain.

"Are you sure?" He asks worriedly.

"Yeah. I just hate seeing you hurt and knowing it's my fault makes it worse..." I say looking down.

"Come here." He says and lifts the blanket up.

I slowly stand up and crawl under the blanket and lay with him.

He covers me up and wraps his arms around me holding me right to him on this little bed.

A smile immediately spreads across my face as I lay up against gray while making sure not to hit his wound.

I feel his muscles move a little and feel him kiss the top of my head making me smile more.

"Do you really love me Natsu?" He asks softly.

"Of course I do Gray. I've always loved you just never realized it till a while ago." I look up at him as my head is resting on his shoulder.

"Good. Cause I love you more then anything in this world Natsu Dragneel." He says then leans down a little and presses his lips softly to mine.

I kiss him back and the kiss doesn't stop. Sparks fly around me as our make-out session continues.

The feel of Gray's lips against mine feels so damn perfect. Like we where always meant together.

The kiss is the only thing i can think of but after about a minute I realize that he's slightly shaking.

He's pushing himself to kiss me. I quickly break the kiss and push him back to the bed so he doesn't hurt anymore.

"Don't hurt yourself Gray." I said feeling a bit mad that he didn't say anything.

"I couldn't help it. I didn't want to stop kissing you Natsu. I've always wanted to crash my lips to yours and hold you in my arms. Just like this." He says with a smile that is full of joy.

His words put a light pink blush across my cheeks. I quickly hide my face in his neck.

"Don't say stuff like that. It's embarrassing." I say muffled by his neck a little.

He chuckles at how girlish I'm acting and pulls me tighter to himself.

"Your so cute Natsu. You know that right." He says in my hair.

"I'm not cute!" I pop my head up and act mad but really I'm happy he thinks I'm cute and not a moron like he always called me.

Gray just laughs more at me and I just smile happy that he's happy.

I lay back down beside him and snuggle into his side making sure not to hurt either of us.

"I love you Gray." I say softly.

"I love you to Natsu." He replies back and kisses the top of my head again.

We lay together in this small bed, curled up to each other and night comes around and soon sleep takes the both of us.

Happy and smiles on our faces we sleep, awaiting what tomorrow may bring to us and our new found love of each other.
