A Sacrifice For My Love

Lucy's p.o.v. -

Gray has finally drifted off to sleep after staying up since we got Natsu here.  I mean he's still with Natsu but he is asleep.

Natsu's laying on the bed like before and Gray is in the chair beside him.  But there's one thing that's different this time.  Their holding hands.

I smile at the two of them as I stand at the door leaning on the frame.  They're so cute together.  Always have in my book.  I see Natsu tighten his grip on Gray's hand and Gray does the same after a second.

I chuckle quietly to myself.  "They really are cute together."

"Who is cute together Lu?"  A voice asks from behind me.

I turn my head and see Levy walking up beside me.  "Nastu and Gray."  I point to the two of them.

"Aww that's so cute.  They're both asleep and holding each others hand."  She said slightly tilting her head and smiling brightly.

"Yeah it is" I say while smiling.

"Well I'm gonna go. See you later Lu." Levy says then starts walking away.

"See you."

Gray's p.o.v. -

When I open my eyes it's already night out.  I feel like I'm in a dream.  Natsu's hand is intangled with mine. 

Tingles and electricity is flowing through my body.  God I love this man so much.

As soon as I thought that he mumbled in his sleep.  I lean closer to him.

"What did you say Natsu?"  I whisper in his ear.

"Gray..."  He said softly and continues to faintly snore.  I smile sweety and peek his forehead before leaning back into the chair.

Morning rolls in quickly and the chatter of voices are heard faintly in the guild hall.  The raging storm continues to grow stronger by the minute.

A sudden scream echoes throughout the guild.  I jump up and pry my hand from Natsu's and run to the door.

The sight before me shocked me.  Juvia's gone completely mad and back to the way she was.  'Wait that's not right she's not back to the way she was.  This.... this is worse."

The storm rages around her.  Thunder and lighting encased around her.  Her eyes full of anger and hatred.

"Gray my love I will save you from their clutches!"  She screams out.

In that moment I feared for Natsu's life again.  I had to protect him from her somehow.

"I'll probable have to fight her.  No... I WILL have to fight her to save the man I love" 

I walk over to Lucy and ask her to look after Natsu.  She nods and walks into the room he's in.

I step closer to Juvia and throw my arms out.

"Stop this Juvia! It's not their fault! I love Natsu and really always have! Leave him alone!"  I scream out not caring who hears.

Lightning bolts strike near my feet, causing me to jump back slightly.

"ICE-MAKE SHIELD."

A huge ice shield blocks the lightning from hitting me.

The lightning hits the ice and it shatters into pieces and fall to the ground like snowflakes.

"He has put you under his spell to make you think that! You don't love him!" She yells

"I've always loved him Juvia! I just never realized it until I almost lost him!"

"IT'S A LIE! ALL OF IT!" She scream out and the storm rages more violently.

"Stop this Juvia! This isn't going to make things better!" I try to stop her without fighting.

"YOU WILL COME BACK TO ME GRAY-SAMA! YOU WILL BE MINE AGAIN!"

Water starts to form around me and the air disappears. I squirm inside the water casing and try to find air but to no success.

Natsu's p.o.v-

As I open my eyes loud cracks of thunder sounds around the guild.

I look around and Gray's nowhere to be found.

An angry voice is heard saying something about 'you'll be mine again'.

Slowly I get out of bed and go into the guild Hall. Everyone is looking out front in a worried manner.

Within the crowd of fairy tail members I see Lucy towards the front.

"Hey Lucy what's going on?" I say as I go over to her near the front of the group.

"Natsu!?" She gasps out. "Your awake!" She starts to cry and hugs me.

I put my arms around her a little to tell her I'm ok. She pulls away and another loud crack of thunder is heard.

"Juvia's gone insane Natsu! She wants us dead because we're keeping Gray from her." She explains worriedly and a little scaredly.

"But we're not. He just doesn't want to be with her."

"I know. Everyone knows but not her apparently." Lucy say then looks out at Gray and Juvia fighting.

"Ice-make lances!" Gray yells as spear shaped ice forms and starts to rain down on Juvia.

Lighting strikes every single one of them and flakes flies around the guild.

Juvia then turns and spots me in the crowd and glares facing me.

"Shit...." I whisper to myself. 'I'm weak and can't fight. She's seriously going to kill me here.' I think briefly.

She raises her hands towards me and water starts to form into the shape of an arrow.

Her piercing eyes trained directly on me. As the arrow is complete it starts to fly towards me.

Quickly I shove Lucy out of the way and close my eyes bracing for the painful impact of the arrow, but.... It never comes.

I open my eyes slowly and see a bares back in front of me. Who would jump in front of me and save me.

Who would do something like that. Lucy? 'No I pushed her out of the way.'

Erza? 'No her and Mirajane are out on another mission.'

Master Mocarov? 'He would have used magic to stop it.'

Wait.... The only person that I know that runs around half naked is....

'Gray!'
