The way back to the guild

Natsu's p.o.v -

'It's cold...Where am I?  What happened?'

'Oh thats right me and Lucy were on a mission to get rid of a beast called Cladius.'

"...su?!?  Natsu?!?"

'A voice...It sounds like Lucy.'

"NATSU?!?!?!"

'Gray...Is that Gray...Why is he here.'

~After the fight with Gray and Cladius~

'It's darker now and still so cold...Am I dying?'

A warm hand touches my chest and slides down across to my stomach than to my side.  Icey coldness follows after.  Sickness slowly sinks in.  A soft cushion underneath me.  Wind blowing slightly throught my hair.  Multiple bumps and turns makes the sick feeling worsen.

Crying from Lucy feels the inside of this little area. Warmth from her hand flowing into mine. Trembling and shaking in fear, sorrow, and regert.  Fear of me dying. Sorrow from seeing a dear friend dying infront of her eyes. And regert from letting this happen.

I want to reach out to her and tell her its fine, that it's not her fault, but I can't move. Every minute that passes it gets colder.

"He's losing his body heat? He wont make it back to the guild."  The car stops and Gray jumps into the car exausted from the car draining his magical energy.  Once again warmth from a hand touches my chest and slides down across to my stomach than to my side. Coldness follows after.

"Gray you stay here with Natsu I'll drive.  Save your magical engery to ice over his wound."

The door shuts and the vechical starts to move again.  Coldness still consuming me.  Falling deeper and deeper into darkness.

Gray's p.o.v. -

I place my head on his chest to listen to his heartbeat to make sure he's still alive. 

"Ba-dump......Ba-dump"  He's alive, barely.

'His skin use to be hot but now he's ice cold, as if he's turning into a popsickle.'

I take my shirt off and lay it on him and claim onto the seat with him to try and keep him warm.  I pull him close to my chest and pray to the gods.

"Please don't take him from me.  Sure he's an idiot and a hot-head but he's a good person.  He helps anyone in need no matter how big the job.  I know we fight all the time but that mean we have a good relationship.  Please," tears start rolling down my face uncontrollably. "Please... I'm... begging you... please."

Lucy's p.o.v. -

As I'm driving I hear Gray's voice trembling as he begs for Natsu's life to be saved.  Tears start rolling down me face more than they where before. 'Poor Gray, he doesn't want to lose Natsu so much even thought they fight all the time. He much really like Natsu to be this torn-up about this.'

Natsu's p.o.v. -

'Something warm is embracing me.  Something small, warm, and wet runs down my cheek.  I was scared but I feel fine now.  Comfortable in the arms of something warm, gentle, kind, and loving.  Who is it who cares so much as to hold a dying man in there arms while crying and...begging for my life to be speared...wait this voice...it's ...GRAY'S!?!'

I feel my motionless body get pulled closer to who I assume is Gray.  He holds my body tight to his, warming me up.

"...ou..."

'What'

"I...ou"

I can't make out what he's saying Ou? I ou? What is that? But i hear it again but more clearer than before.

"I love you."  Gray softly speaks unconsiously.  "Please don't die and leave me Natsu.  I just realised my feelings so please...please dont die," and more tears chrickle down my cheek.

Gray's p.o.v -

Im holding onto him, afaird to let go.  As if he would slip away from me if I don't hold onto him.

"Please don't die... I love you!"

Auther note:

I know i kept say 'to warm him' and 'don't die' in this chapter but I couldn't think of any other words.  And thanks for reading this awful fanfic.  :3
