I wake up on me and jakes bed. My back stung and I was on my stomach.
It felt like someone stabbed 2 knives on my shoulder blades. I try to get up but my arms fail me, my body too weak.
"J-jake.." My voice was horse and shaky. He gets up from a chair by the bed and strokes my hair. His hair was tossed like he was running his hands through his hair a lot. And his face was full of worry and relief.
"W-what.. What happened?" I look up at him and he kisses my forehead. He hands me a milky drink. I gulp it quickly and the pain subsides. I sit up and sigh.
"You might wanna go look in a mirror.." He bites his lip and smiles slightly. I look at him and quickly get up and run into the bathroom. I turn on the lights and my eyes widen.
There were rainbow fairy wings coming out of between my shoulder blades. They were small but I could see them through the mirror. I smile and stare at them, my wings flapping slightly as I move to see them
Jake comes in and I bite my lip, looking back at him. He smiles and I smile back
"Can I really fly now?" I ask excitedly. He chuckles and we go outside. I scrunch up my nose and jump in the air. I push my muscles in the wings and they flap. I smile down at jake and he grabs my ankle so I don't fly off
"Your not leaving me here little missy. Plus your still half naked." I shrug and giggle. My eyes widen as I feel my wings go into my back. I fall and jake catches me. I blushed and hide my face in jakes chest
" your gonna have to learn that better." He chuckles and I smile
