One day my mom asked my clean out all our old things out of the shed in the back. I didn't really understand why she asked me to do it since I don't live here anymore. She must've just wanted to see me. I made my way to the back and found a bunch of old things that belonged to my great-grandfather.
There are so many of his journals here. Since when did men keep diaries? I thought as I casually flipped through a few. Most of them appear to just be about his life, and then a really thick journal emerged from within the others that stood out. This one is much thicker than the others. Every page is full of information about all kinds of things. Wait... what's this? The name for this journal, it's in French right? I took that in high school; let's see if I still remember anything from back then. The title was: Les Loups. The Wolves huh?
"Akio! You've been working so hard all day, come take a break. I'll make you some tea and a snack." My mother called from the doorway of the shed.
"Okay mom! Hey can I take some of the stuff in here?" I called after her.
"Sure! Why don't you put them in your car before you take a break so you don't forget?" mom proposed.
"Good idea, I'll be there soon." I said then I stood up and carried three boxes filled with journals, documents, photos, and other objects like those belonging to my late great-grandfather.
Months later one night I was sitting around upstairs above my bar drinking bear and flipping through gramps' journals while watching the news. Some of the passages in the Les Loups journal didn't make any sense, much like this one. I read:
Date: 4/19/1920
Today is hot for being mid-April. Our very first mission was a success! Kamurra didn't think it would go well but I had faith in the boys. Glass was a big help as well. His painting that we recovered is so beautiful it's a shame it got stolen in the first place. He was so grateful to us for retrieving it for him that he looked like he was about to cry. It's amusing to see him like that, or maybe it's more refreshing than amusing, either way it was pleasing to see.
Our next mission takes place in Kyoto. We will be retrieving Glass' painting From the End back from a rich government official with underground tries to the mafia. Kasi did a lot of undercover work and mapped out every route each guard took and how long they were there for. Man did he have some complaining to do after he got back. It was funny because like always once I gave him food he shut up. I love him to death but sometimes he annoys me with how much he feels the need to complain. I pray for the poor girl that marries him someday.
I will write more tomorrow when we have more information, Hiro out there now talking up the target.

I could tell my gramps was close to this Glass because of how fondly he often speaks of him. Who is he? I wonder if Kyo knows who he is. I picked up the phone and called Kyo Kasito.
"What the hell do you want?" I heard Kyo's annoyed voice say.
"Hey don't be mean to me like that! I only called because I have a question for you." I said sweetly. With Kyo you have swallow your pride and kiss up to him or else he isn't going to do a thing you ask him to.
"Ugh... fine, what's your damn question?" Kyo sighed.
"A kid your age shouldn't use that kind of language." I teased.
"I'm hanging up now." Kyo sounded angry.
"Wait, wait!" I cried into the phone. "Kyo?" I asked hesitantly.
