"Sir, we've received information that some have begun to find each other. Are there any plans as of now?"

"Ah, child, indeed. We'll test them. How many are there?"

"Two as of now, sir."

"Send him out, then."

I looked down in astonishment. Both of our Jyns were now gleaming white instead of gold, and seemed to let out an aura of power. The girl and I stared at our own Jyns, at each others, and at each other. We had no idea how to respond or when this shining would cease, but we were so mesmerized we couldn't worry about anyone else finding us. We both let out a sigh and the Jyns began to fade back into their original colors.

This girl's mirror was a twinkling silver where there should have been glass. It reflected just as well as glass, but the image that one would see would be tinted slightly since it was a metal. Strangely, it did not have very much glare, no matter how much light shined on it. The outer edges of the mirror were a bronze-goldenrod, similar to my necklace's chains. It was slightly more dirty looking, but anyone who gazed upon it could see a beauty far beyond the naked eye. In the center of the rim was a gemstone, colored rose gold. It was at the top of the mirror, out of the silver, but it accented the perimeter quite nicely.

The girl herself was fairly normal in appearance. She had a darker shade of blonde hair color, and her hair length reached to her elbows. Her eyes were a deep blue, containing knowledge far beyond anything I could comprehend. She wore a simple dress, yet eloquent. It billowed at the sleeves, but the dress itself only reached her calves. It was a light yellow, and she radiated warmth.

"Y-y-y-you have one too?" the girl asked me quietly.

"Yeah... Uh... Should we introduce ourselves now?" I laughed nervously.

"Oh! I can't believe we experienced such a thing without even knowing each other's names! I'm Orella, or Ori for short. Pleased to meet you," she stammered.

"Orella, nice name. I'm Wu. Hopefully we can become friends now that we have—" I looked down, glancing at our Jyns, "—something in common."

We both laughed and sat awkwardly, still on the floor from running into each other and falling from surprise from what happened mere moments ago. I scratched behind my ear as I struggled to search for any words that would break the silence.

"S-so what were you coming around here for?" I questioned her.

"Well, two things. One was to research more about this old thing, and a second was..." Orella trailed off.

"Was..?" I pressed, searching for a final word.

"...Was to see if what I saw was true," she replied softly. "With this Jyn, I learned that if I dip it in water a little bit, I can communicate with the Gods to see the future. It's a part of Greek mythology. I went to the library to test it out, since I knew this one had a fountain in the middle. The mirror showed flashes of images, but the one I remembered the most was... our Jyns glowing," Orella confessed.

I stared in shock as I began to realize the amount of power that this girl held. She could see the future as long as there was water around, even if it's just images at a time. I needed her to be on my side, if this insane misfortune kept coming around.

"Damn, that's... really strong. Say, how about we team up?" I suggested.

"T-team up? For what? Do you need to do something?" she said, hesitating.

"No! Not at all! I just have this necklace, and the first thing I learned was that it granted me eternal beauty and misfortune. I kind of need a bit of back up, life sucks right now." I explained.
