Patrick's POV

Tony had gotten up early the next morning despite having an exhausting night and prepared everything for the barbeque. I was so impressed; she was so independent and didn't need anyone to tell her to do things, (or, in my case, ask) she was self-sufficient and was a general wonder.

That afternoon, myself, Pete, Andy, Joe, Brendon and Spencer stood around the grill sipping on a couple of beers - Andy's being non-alcoholic - and I looked around to see where my "other half" was. It was crazy how everyone adored her and she fit in so well - it was one of the many reasons I loved her. Wait, what?

"Patrick you're burning something!" Tony's voice snapped me out of my very disturbing realization.

I quickly flipped over the steaks currently on the grill and I looked over to see what she was doing. Her, Bronx, Sarah and Hemmingway were in their swim suits (Tony had on a black bikini that showed off every curve on her) and talking animatedly. Bronx fell back laughing at something Tony had said and Sarah had face palmed herself. Hemmingway had just gone up to her and given her a long sloppy lick on her cheek, causing more laughter.

This was such a beautiful sight, she clearly was having a great time, Bronx adored her and Sarah seemed to like her too.

Pete handed me another beer as Andy joined their group. "She's pretty good with Bronx. He seems to love her. Sarah looks like she's enjoying her company too."

Brendon joined in the conversation. "I'm so glad though. I'm not saying Sarah and your girlfriend and wife don't get along but it looks like Sarah and Tony have more in common. When I spoke to her last night, she seemed great. You got a keeper there Stump."

"That's what I told him last night." Pete said. "Only I think your ex-wife might have heard me shouting. What are you going to do if she causes trouble?"

"She won't. She broke a very explicit term in our prenup and she knows she can't do a damn thing about it."

Tony's POV

I looked up to find all the guys at the grill looking at us. "Hey guys, stop checking Andy out!" I playfully screamed.

Andy laughed, jumped up and smacked his ass. "Yeah baby, they all want a piece of the Hurley."

I was canning myself. Once you got to know Andy, he was a really great person and I could hold an intelligent conversation with him. Bronx ran off to Pete and Sarah excused herself to make sure Brendon wasn't drinking too much otherwise Andy would end up driving everyone home.

"So, is it weird that I admire your work Tony? I mean, you are now of the greatest legal minds I've read of and it's nice to have someone intelligent to converse with."

I smiled at his kindness. "Wow, and here I was ready to say the same. Your passion comes out so clearly through your work. It's also one of the reasons I care for Patrick so much. Both of us have something we're equally as passionate about and it's refreshing to not worry about leaving him to his own devices."

Andy laughed at this. "Sweety, you say that now but I'm going to be straightforward, when we go on tour,  how are you going to cope with Patrick being gone! I realize you aren't the average woman but love isn't average."

Andy seemed wise beyond his years. I nodded thoughtfully. "You make a very thought provoking point Mr. Hurley. All I can say is that we'll cross that bridge when we get there - both touring and love."

"Ah yes, I can see why both would be cautious when it comes to love. Patrick is a sensitive and sincere man, what he says he means and he makes a point of letting those who he cares about know."

He got up and offered he his hand to get up. I walked ahead and I heard "great woman with a great ass too."

I turned around and gave him a stern look and waggled my finger. "Na uh Hurley."
