Just a couple of hours I woke up. And not because of an alarm clock, my dad or Stiles. What woke me up was cold water touching my skin. I opened my eyes, noticing I wasn't in my own bed; in my own room. Instead of seeing a ceiling, I saw a dark sky with a lot of stars, and trees. I blinked. What was I doing in the woods in the middle of the night? Was I sleep walking? Again? Why else would I be in the woods? I sighed and got up from the cold, wet, dirty ground. It was quite cold in only a shorts and top.

I shocked up when I heard a sound coming from behind me. I turned slowly around, my heart pounding like crazy and my breath going very fast as well. There I faced a man. Not just a man, but one with lot of hair on his face, fangs and yellow glowing eyes. His hands were claws. I heard him growling. I didn't have the time to think about it, because this couldn't be real, right? Anyhow, it took me a second to realize I had to run. Run away from this scary creature.

And so I did. I started to run as fast as I could. I could hear him coming after me, growling loudly. He was very close to me, I could tell. I saw that tree trunk too late, and just a second later I laid on the ground. A stinging pain went through my right ankle the moment I hit the ground. The man was practically hanging over me now, his face close to mine. Another growl left his mouth. I was crying. I was so scared. I felt his nails digging into the skin of my arms, I felt how blood was streaming over my arms. I screamed loud. The man seemed to shock, but he didn't let go of me yet. The nails dug deeper down in my skin, and now I didn't scream just because I was scared, but also out of pain. Than the man suddenly got thrown in the air, hitting a tree. And I saw Derek's face.

Derek had been following this guy - a werewolf who was just moving through Beacon Hills, he assumed - for a while, and so he had tonight, after he had left Ciara's house. When he had a girl screaming later that night, he tracked the place it came from. And just a few moments later he found the girl, who turned out to be Ciara. The werewolf was practically hanging over her. He scented blood. He didn't hesitate and attacked the werewolf immediately. It didn't take him long to make the werewolf leave, with a warning. Most werewolves, humans and any other creature, wouldn't protest, most of them listened to him.

He walked over to Ciara, who was still laying on the ground. Her facial expression very scared, her heart pounding and her breath going fast. She was shivering badly. He wasn't sure it was because she was scared or because she was just cold, because she was only wearing a shorts and a top. She seemed too scared to move. He knelt down by her and laid his finger under her chin, forcing her to look at him.

"Hey-," he started off, his voice calm, "it's okay. He's gone, he won't come back," he continued. He saw the tears rolling down over her cheeks. He felt sorry for this girl. It was strange he did, but true. He truly felt sorry for her. He took off his jacket and wrapped it around her. He than lifted her up, holding her tight. He started walking.

"How did you end up here?" Derek wondered out loud. A girl like Ciara wouldn't go outside at night if she felt like it, at least so he thought. She seemed to be scared for that. There weren't many options left than. Either she had been sleep walking, or someone brought her here. He was quite sure it was the first option, she must have ended up here while sleep walking. Something she seemed to share with her brother, although that had been for some completely other reasons.

I looked up at him when I heard him asking me something. I had calmed down once he had lifted me up. Even though I didn't know him, I trusted him. I knew I could. He wouldn't hurt anyone - he wouldn't hurt me. Stiles and Scott wouldn't be so much around him if he would.

"I-I," I stuttered, "I don't know.. I guess I've been sleep walking again.." I muttered.

"Ah. I already thought so," Derek said in a murmur.

"Why?"

"Why else would you be in the woods in the middle of the night?"

"Maybe I like to get a night walk."

"As if."

"How would you know what I like or not?"

"Because you don't seem that type."

"Hmm you're right."

"I always am."

I couldn't help but grin by his last words. I didn't know why, I just did.

The way she started an arguement, the way she grinned and the way her eyes were sparkling at the end of the arguement, it made him smile. When she returned a smile, he looked in front of him again. That smile was so cute. She was cute. Everything about her was cute.

Dawn was coming up when he reached her house. He held Ciara tightly in one arm and rang the doorbell with his free hand. After that he quickly used his free arm to hold Ciara again, to make sure she wouldn't fall. She had insisted to walk further on her own, but he had refused. He rather hadn't her walking since she had also told him about her ankle which hurt her so much. He had made her clear he would carry her to her house, and eventually she had agreed.

Stiles woke up from the doorbell ringing. Annoyed he got up from his bed and got downstairs, toward the front door and opened the it. His eyes widened in surprise when seeing Derek carrying his sister - again.

"What-? Why-?" He didn't finish any of his sentences.

"I found her in the preserve. She was nearly attacked by a.. you know," he said. He didn't say the word werewolf. He didn't think it was his job to tell about werewolves - if she should know about them anyway.

"Werewolf?" I asked.

Both Derek and Stiles looked at Ciara.

"How do you know?" Stiles asked before Derek could open his mouth to ask.

"I am not stupid. Believing is another thing, though," I murmered.

"Anyway," Derek ignored Ciara, "I found her wounded. She probably tripped over a tree trunk and something's wrong with her ankle. You should take care of that, and of the wounds on her arms," he told Stiles, who nodded on his words.

Stiles took Ciara out of Derek's arms and nodded thankful. When Derek left, he closed the door behind him and brought Ciara upstairs. There he laid her on her bed.

"I'll get dad," Stiles said before walking out of the room. He was quite surprised of her knowing about the werewolf thing. Did she know about Scott and Malia as well? And how long did she know it? He would ask her later about it...
