8: Did you feel it?

I felt my emotions that I stored away burst through my bloodstream like a dam. And if I'm not mistaken he felt something too. His hazel eyes slowly let the green speckles appear as we gazed into each others eyes. He slid himself out of me slowly and we just laid next to one another staring at the ceiling.

I have been told that every time you have sex with someone you give a little bit of yourself away every time. I use to think it was bullshit because if you knew how to control your emotions then that would be irrelevant.

Now I understand it and feel it.

Something about sex with Shad is different then all the other guys I sexed. "Jay." he called softly. Turning on my side to face him he did the same.

"Yeah?" I answered just above a whisper.

"We need to talk." he stated making my heart instantly start racing in my chest. Something about those four words always gets anybody heart racing. Nodding I let out a breath propping my head up; "Did you feel anything?"

He had a sincere expression that laced with hope it looked like. "Honestly, yes." I breathed. A small smile came across his lips making me mirror the expression.

"Now you this means one of two things?" he inquired and I stayed quiet I just wanted to hear him say the options.

"One we can end this whole fuck buddy situation. Or we can go back on our words and see where a relationship takes us."

After a few moments of silence of us just staring at one another I finally decided to speak.

"I like the second option best."

"I was hoping you would say that."

Crinkling our eyes we gazed at each other not long after our lips connected. His body between my thighs he looked me in the eyes once more before placing the softest most supple peck on my lips. It sent a slight chill through me slightly taking my breath away.

Wow...

A lust filled smirk came across my lips while I trailed my fingers up and down his back. Kissing him sweetly I enjoyed being in his embraced. It just feels great to be able to bask in this moment rather than him getting up leaving me alone.

Taking his position back on the side of me I snuggled my body next to his while he cut off the light. Only the sound of our breathing could be heard as we drifted off to sleep.

"Jay, get up." Bow nudged me from my slumber. Giving him the evil eye he sucked his teeth; "Yo phone ringing."

Tossing the device he rolled out the bed and made his way to the bathroom. Looking at the screen with dim eyes it read that I had a missed call from Destiny. Unlocking it I went to my call log and tapped on her number. Holding the phone to my ear as it rung I sleepily rubbed my eyes.

"Hey Jay." she said happily.

"Sup?" I mumbled sleepily.

"Ah your just waking up so I'm just going to make this quick. I was just calling to see if you were good after last night." Once she mentioned it I sucked my teeth.

"I'm good. I'm going to tell you like I told Bow y'all ain't got to invite me anywhere she gon' be. I refuse to deal with that petty shit." I rolled my eyes and she sighed.

"Don't be like that Jay. You know me and her always together."

"Tell her get off yo clit. She grown and can socialize with out you holding her hand."

"Aye now chill that's still my sister Jay. If I can get her to behave can y'all talk it out please?"

"Yeah Jay please!" Chris' loud mouth could be heard in the background. Rolling my eyes I let out a laugh along with them. "Seriously though please Jay?" Destinee pleaded and I could see her doing that damn puppy dog pout.

"Ugh fine! If I get the slightest bit of disrespect from her I ain't gon promise to behave." I warned. "Yes! Okay I'll call you later after I talk to her ass." she beamed causing me to laugh.

"Oh yeah me and you have to talk girl! Come by later — by yourself okay." I grinned. "Awh shit this must be big. I'll be over there in about a half hour." After we said our goodbyes I dropped my face into the pillow thinking about what occurred between me and Bow.

Did I really just agree to be in a relationship?

Hell must've frozen over and the devil himself went and submitted to God to do his will. The bathroom door opened and out walked Bow. We caught eyes and my bottom lip found its way between my teeth. He licked his sexy lips with a glint of lust flickering in his eyes.

"What are you about to do?"

"You. If you let me."

Bursting in laughter I buried my face into my pillows. He is so nasty. The bed shifted and kisses were placed on my shoulder and upper back.

"What's your plan for today?" he inquired between more kisses.

"Chill with Destiny for a bit then possibly work. You?" I answered playing with his hair. The fade grew put and his hair was getting a little poofy and wavy; I like it like this. 

"Work. When I get home a I want you to come chill with me for a while."

"Mmm you going to make it worth the while?" I teased and he laughed. "Don't I always? But I got to go I'll see you later." he kissed my lips for a few moments going back to his apartment. I decided to not move until I heard the door close. Once it did I got up to get in the shower and all of that other good stuff.

"Wait! Y'all together?! Bitch I knew it was going to happen!" Destiny beamed. "Hush!" I chuckled lowly.  I could feel my body growing hot from her teasing. "Aw shit bitch you blushing!" I laughed and hid my face.

"Answer me this though. You think you can behave?"

"I don't know. I'm scared though. I want this but I don't know if I deserve it."

I truly don't know how this is going to pan out. Hopefully I don't fuck this shit up. I really do like Shad and I want to see how far this thing can go.
