9: Taking notes.

A couple weeks later

"I don't want to do this anymore." I muttered rubbing my temples with my free hand. I guess you can say we set a day to talk with China. We've been sitting in the guys apartment for fifteen minutes and I already feel like this is a bad idea. I don't know what she wants or is expecting from me; it damn sure bet not be a apology.

"You just nervous chill. Alright." Shad cooed and I turned to peck his cheek. So far we've been doing well. If we aren't here we're at my place or out doing something random. Like last Sunday he didn't have to work at the shop so he took me to the roller rink that night. It was so cute seeing older couples be affectionate towards one another.

That's what I want for my future is what I kept thinking. The door opened and in walked Destiny, Chris, Tyga, and that bitch. I gave Destiny and Chris hugs and gave Tyga a head nod which he returned. Once everyone got seated we sat in a tension filled silence.

"Alright I'll start since ain't nobody speaking." I huffed adjusting myself on the couch. My elbows resting on my knees I folded my fingers and looked at China who sat directly across from me.

"Honestly I don't want nothing from you. I do feel like you owe me an apology. I'm not apologizing for what happened especially since one you know how I am and two I told you to leave me alone. We don't have to kick it or anything after this. I don't have a problem with you, I truly don't. We been girls for a while so if you wanna fix, we can. However I will NOT put up with disrespect from anyone." I spat calmly keeping my eyes with hers.

Her eyes were hard while everyone else had a nervous expression plastered on their faces. As they should because the second she pops off at the mouth there is no holding me back.

"You're right. And I apologize for pushing your buttons and shit. I was just mad because I felt like you let Re'Niyah betray us." she spoke just as calmly as I did.

"What did she do to you?" I inquired. As far as I'm aware of Re'Niyah only fucked Chris and sucked Bow off — she's a hoe yeah yeah I know.

"She tried to fuck Ty too, but I walked in."

"Why didn't anybody tell me? Ty and China I sincerely apologize for that." they accepted that apology and China smiled at me.

"We cool?"

"We cool."

I grinned before we both stood and shared a sisterly hug. "Aw! Yay! The three Musketeers are back in action!" Destiny beamed making us laugh. "Aye Jay can I ask you something?" Chris asked and I nodded.

"What makes that Re'Niyah chick come out in you?" he asked and I will admit I was thrown off by it because I wasn't expecting it.

I should've though because after the fight I didn't speak about her with anyone.

"Well when I was younger I did get placed into a group home for a while. I wasn't the popular one nor was I the most hated, but I don't know it's hard to explain. There would be days she'd take over and get into fights and I would have no idea about it. Doctors said it's something I just developed but for the most part she stays under control." I informed and the guys looked at me with shocked facial expressions.

Of course China and Destiny knew the story so they wore the same bland face I wore.

Shad (Bow Wow]

I won't lie this Re'Niyah character does interest me. I don't remember much from that night, but I do remember looking at Jay in a different light.

Is it bad or good is undecided though.

We sat around for a little bit before Me and Jay decided to dip out to Gatsby's. I wanted to ask her more questions about Re'Niyah so I needed to butter her up with sweets.

One thing I learned about her these past few weeks besides she's stubborn is that she loves sweets. After us both two scoops of Strawberry Cream we sat at one of the tables near the cupcakes.

"Gosh this is fucking better then Dairy Queen!" Jay danced in her seat as she pit more of the cool desert in her mouth. Chuckling at her I placed some more in my mouth as well.

"Can I ask you something?" I inquired and she looked at me and nodded slowly pulling the plastic spoon from between her lips. "Can you tell me more about Re'Niyah?" I polled and she looked taken back sort of.

"Um what you want to know?"

"Well when does she come out?"

It looked like she sighed before she answered, but I'm not sure because she's eating. Last time I saw her 'sigh' like that the ice cream hit her teeth — well that's what she said and topic of conversation wasn't even deep then.

"Generally when fun needs to or is being had. And if there's liquor involved she'll come out. Majority of the time I'm aware of when she's about to make an appearance and sometimes she sneaks up on me." she told and I nodded.

"Also she has serious issues. She has a mind of her own and when she's out and there's something she wants...she'll make sure she gets it." she spoke in a warning but sympathizing tone almost. I'm not sure how to take it, but it won't be forgotten.

"Aye stop cheating!" Jay huffed blowing out smoke from the blunt we were sharing. It being Saturday night we stayed in since Jay has work tomorrow. “Ain’t no cheating." I chuckled highly taking another puff of the blunt before passing it to her.

“Are too." she mumbled stealing the ball from one of my guys and made a three pointer putting her ahead of me. "Oh hell no." I mumbled glancing at the clock. There was only five seconds on this last quarter and its going to take a miracle for me to win this shit.

The second one of my players went to steal the ball from her she shot another three pointer ending the game.

"Ha! You can't beat me nigga! And you was cheating!" She taunted passing me the rest of the blunt. Sucking my teeth I mumbled man before puffing the rest of the blunt and ashing it.

"Come on lets go to bed." She said enticingly running her fingers through her hair.

Shit she ain't have to tell me twice.
