I've lived in this neighborhood all my life. And all my life the house down the street was thought to be haunted. We all call it the old Johnsons place. Why? Well about 18 years ago an old witch Mrs. Margret Johnson used to practice witchcraft, the bad kind. No one knows what happened to her husband, but what happened to her daughter Estella is legendary around here.

People say that one night while Mrs. Johnson was evoking the spirit of pure evil, or something like that, she lost control and the spirit killed Estella who was hiding behind a dresser in the attic where her mother was literally calling evil. I've seen pictures of Mrs. Johnson and she was beautiful. The day after her daughter died she was found dead in her attic on the floor. Her skin had turned pale white and her long brown hair had turned the dullest shade of white. The scary part is that Estella's body was never found. No one knows what happen to the 5 year olds body, but people say her spirit was left to roam the house forever.

"Julie!"

"Damn Jesse you almost gave me heart attack." I realized I was spacing out as me and my friends sat by the couch playing truth or dare.

"Sorry buts it's your turn truth or dare?" Jesse had one of the biggest parties of the year tonight, and once everyone left, the few remaining decided to play truth or dare.

"Jesse she'll have to be the last one because my and crystal have to going before her mom freaks" said Scott

So our little game consisted of me, Jesse (my best friend), crystal, Scott, Ryan, and Stacy. It had been a fun game so far, if you forget the fact that Ryan spent most of the time trying to get the girls to strip and sucking face with Stacy. Okay so I've never liked Stacy or Ryan, and no its not because they're more popular than me. It's because they are just mean. And to my annoyance theyve been sucking face the entire time. dont theese people need to breathe!?

"Okay dare" please don't let it be something embarrassing

"Crystal, make it interesting" Ryan is obviously disappointed he didn't get to give me the dare he probably would have made it something embarrassing for his amusement. The dirty look Crystal gave Ryan tells me she hates him as much as I do.

"Julie I dare you to spend one week in the old Johnsons place... with Ryan"

"What?!" me and Ryan both yelled at the same time.

"Guys a dare is a dare" stupid crystal!

"Yeah guys crystal is right, come on Ryan you don't want the school knowing you're a wuss right?" I almost slapped Scott to make him shut up!

"Fine I'll go, Julie will need someone to save her from the little ghost anyway"

"Shut up Ryan! $5 says you'll run out crying before I do!" he looks at me with a devilish grin.
