RECAP:

I looked out the window and realized how dark it is. The clock in the room says it's almost midnight. I've been sitting in my room spacing out for almost two hours. That's when I heard Ryan scream. I ran out of my room as fast as I could I got out in time to see him get slammed into the wall in his room and then the door shut in my face.

I was now pounding on the wall and trying to kick it open suddenly all the noise going on in Ryan's room stopped. The whole house was scary quiet. The door to Ryan's room swung open. I stepped inside and almost doubled over in pain. There was a horrible smell and the room was forty degrees cooler. I

heard moans of pain coming from the other side of Ryan's bed. I walked over and what I saw I knew would haunt me for the rest of my life.

It was the body of a little girl. She had blonde hair and electric blue eyes. She looked so sweet except for her open dead eyes. I reached down to close them, I don't know why but I felt like I should.

"Ryan?" I heard muffled sounds from above. I looked up and saw Ryan! He looked terrified. Some kind of invisible force was holding him up. I looked back down at the little girl. She must be Estella. I kneeled downed and looked at her she looked peaceful in death but I knew this was some kind of trick.

"Estella? What are you doing? Why are you doing this? What happened to you?" I looked back up at Ryan. He was just stuck on the ceiling not moving but obviously alive. The look on his face when he saw me look up confused me; it was something I have never seen on his face. He looked honestly concerned for me. I looked back at Estella. Her eyes shot open and she sat up. I was so terrified and amazed I couldn't move.

"Why are you here?" oh my god she talked, and actually sounded normal!

"U-um I'm here on a dare."

"Like all the other idiots who come to my home, something about you is different tho."

"What do you mean?" okay this little girl is really freaking me out, I want to run away so bad run away screaming but something inside is telling me to stay here. I keep hearing muffled sounds. Oh no I forgot about Ryan!

"Hey Estella I don't mean to be rude or anything but do u mind putting my friend down, gently please don't just drop him." I can't believe I'm actually asking her this. Oh god, she's just staring at him.

"Estella, please he means a lot to me." Whoa, the scariest thing out of all of this is that I actually think I do care about Ryan. Do I love him though? I don't think I do.

"I can see he does mean much to you, but he means nothing to me and killing him might be fun. Oh don't look so scared I won't kill him, because without him I can't have you." She smiled. She seemed pleased but also sad

"What do you want with me?"

"All in due time Julie. Enjoy the rest of your stay in my home; I'll see you before you leave."

"Wait what about Ryan?" I watched her look up at him her eyes went from blue to black. I looked up at Ryan he was sliding on the ceiling. He suddenly fell then dropped. I think I screamed I'm not sure, but next thing I know he bounced off the bed.

"Ryan, are you okay?" he pulled me towards him and hugged me.

"I'm fine thanks to you; I thought she was going to kill me." He held me tighter, and I don't really mind.

"I don't know what she wants from me but I think she's gone, or well at least till the last day we're here" Ryan grabbed my face and looked at me. I felt like his eyes could see everything I really was, like he could see right through me.

"Julie, I'm sorry for being such an ass. I don't know what she wants with you but I know I wont let her hurt you."

"I don't think she wants to hurt me. I don't understand but I feel like I can trust her." He was caressing my cheek now. His touch felt like a wild fire going through my skin.

"Julie, can I ask you something?" it came out as a whisper and he leaned in closer to me.

"s-sure" we were so close now, I could smell the mint in his breath.

"Did you mean what you said to her, about caring about me?"

"I don't know how or why, but I did," the second his lips touched mine my whole body felt like it was on fire and I wanted him, I wanted him closer to me. The kiss started out slow but I wrapped my arms around him and deepened it quickly. We both pulled back for air and we both just looked at each other.

"I never thought I'd fall for the school jerk." He laughed and kissed me again.

"I always knew you would fall for me eventually, I just didn't know I would fall for you first." I pulled him towards me and kissed him again. Next thing I know, we were both laying on the bed wrapped around each other. I remember how I swore to myself I wouldn't let this happened and stated laughing. I felt Ryan smile against my lips.

"What's so funny?"

"This, this wasn't supposed to happen."

"It wasn't, but you like it." He kissed me again and soon enough we both fell asleep in each other's arms.
