It was a Monday. Great, school... School wasn't exactly my cup of tea, I was always picked on by Seth and his little group that included Luna and his best friend Julian and this other kid that I couldn't remember his name. I think it was Wesley, or Wes for short. Tiffany approached me in front of the school building, dressed decently in her overalls which made her look aesthetically pleasing. She had a rose hair clip in her hair and a choker around her neck. Her hair matched the rose so well. She smelt faintly of peach scented perfume that Luna uses sometimes to cover up her cigarette stench. "You ready for this? We haven't been here for a while," Tiffany said plainly, "I bet I have a lot of homework to make up for." I nodded. So do I, I thought to myself. We both had homeroom together so we calmly walked in the room and everyone gawked at us like we lost fifty pounds. We haven't been to school in THAT long? The teacher seemed happy to see us. Tiffany smiled at everyone and waved awkwardly. My god, she's so precious. Julian was in the back, picking his teeth with a toothpick. I growled to myself. He took the toothpick out of his mouth and starting making kissing sounds to annoy us. Julian had blonde hair and was the captain of the football team. He had a great build and had the bluest eyes ever. He drove girls crazy but they don't know what he does in his spare time. Let's just say, he gets naughty with every girl he sees. The whole class turned to him and one kid slapped the toothpick out of his hand. Tiffany found it amusing and scoffed. We sat down and the speaker in the classroom spoke some announcements. "Today for lunch we will have chicken sandwiches with a side of macaroni and salad. Soccer team please meet after school. There will be a school dance tomorrow night-" WAIT. TOMORROW NIGHT?! I felt myself turn red. Julian "ooo"ed at me and raised his eyebrows. I grumbled and turned my head away from him. Tiffany looked at me and slowly looked down at her hands. We walked to first period once everything was over and Tiffany dropped one of her books. I ran over to help her but it looked like someone else was helping her, Wes. God, Wesley made me madder than anything. Tiffany was madly in love with Wesley and found him super attractive. Which, all the girls did. He had tan skin and jet black hair that everyone went mad for. His eyes were a bright brown and looked just like wood because of how hard they were. I didn't really know why I didn't like him, I guess it was because Tiffany had a crush on him and he was popular. Seth, Julian and Luna approached Tiffany and Wes when they were into a deep conversation. Seth patted Wesley's shoulder and started speaking to Tiffany. Then Tiffany started blushing, and started nodding. I was scared to even know what they were talking about. The bell rang, and everyone started hurrying about what they were doing while Tiffany was smiling the biggest I've ever seen her smile as she ran over to me. "WESLEY ASKED ME TO THE DANCE!!" She jumped with joy. I felt my heart shatter. "Oh, congrats Tiffy. I'm happy for you!" I faked a smile but, deep inside, I wanted to curl up and die. No matter if Tiffany was my date or not, I was still going. Only to make sure she was going to be okay. I thought all day about it and was on the verge of tears. I went to bed and all of my tears left my eyes in a flash.
