"Do I look okay?" Tiffany asked as she turned her face to mine, sweating nervously. "Stop sweatin' now, your makeup will run." I said plainly, situating my belt. "I can't help it, I'm just so excited!" She smiled and wiped her forehead in front of my bathroom mirror. "Wesley is seriously the sweetest person ever, he hands me love notes in Social Studies. He's a softie, and nothing like Seth, Luna or Julian."
Yeah right, I bet he faked it.
We shortly arrived at school. It was all covered in streamers and colors. I could see a disco ball inside glowing. We walked in and Wesley approached us. He gave me a warm smile. "Hello, Bruiser. I'm-" I interrupted him,"I know. Wesley Jones." Wes nodded with his eyes wide. I think I scared him. Tiffany froze for a good second and grabbed Wesley's hand. "Lets go. Bruiser, just.. do whatever." They both walked off and I sighed. Luna, Seth and Julian all bounced on me as soon as they left my sight. "Ayeee!! Mr I-Wanna-Date-My-Best-Friend is sad!" Luna scoffed. "Shut up for once in your life Luna Joyce." I snapped. Julian shook his head and Luna laughed. I could tell Luna was drunk. She smelt strongly of vodka and beer. I attempted not to choke on her scent as she rubbed against me. I pushed her away, walking off as fast as I could. A slow dance song was playing now and I was on the search for Wes and Tiff. I couldn't find them anywhere. I was starting to get worried. I left the gym and went searching in different rooms. I then found them in the girls bathroom. Wes was pushing her against the wall practically sharing saliva with Tiffany. French kissing Tiffany. Her lips pressing his. Tiffany slowly pushed away, smiling and rubbing her neck. "Look, Wes, I gotta go now. I need to find Bruiser." I felt my heart jump when she said my name. Wesley grabbed her hand and smiled. "Why leave? I'm having a good time." He smirked. I growled. Tiffany shook her head,"I think we'd have a better time if we went and DANCED. How about that?"
"Hm..." he thought,"Nope. Let's stay here."
Tiffany agreed with a sigh. I had enough to witness so I went outside and sat on the steps. Around 30 minutes later, Tiffany went outside and sat by me. I looked at her and she looked at me. "So.. how's your night?"
"Good... I guess." She barely grinned.
I wanted to ask about Wesley but didn't bother to. "I saw you and Wes in the bathroom." Tiffany jumped. "You did?!" She stomped up. "You're a creep! Always up in MY business!! Why can't you just leave me alone?!" I stared at her and snapped. "BECAUSE I CARE!!! WHAT PART OF THAT DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?!" She looked at me for a good while, before a single tear streamed down her face and she started home. "No, wait.. Tiff I'm sorry. Please!!" She ignored me. Tiffany was right, I WAS being a creep. I shouldn't always be up in her business, that's nosy. Wes heard our yelling and went outside. He saw me crying silently and talking to myself. "Man.. hey, you okay? I heard you and Tiff at it." He patted my shoulder. "Yeah.. I just care for her since she's my best friend but I guess I'm just too nosy." I replied with a sniff. He shook his head "At least you want to make sure she is safe. That's all that matters." I nodded and smiled at Wesley. "Thanks, Wes. You're a good dude after all. Even if you did kiss Tiff with your tongue." We both had a good laugh at that, even though nobody else would find it funny. Wes messed up my hair. "See you around, Bruiser." Wesley wasn't a bad dude after all.
