Morning

Morning had come, my heart still filled with pain and regret.

Regret about my secret I was keeping from Fawn.

I had thought about it until I fell asleep, I can't tell her, not now.

Dawn and her brother lay fast asleep, their mother too.

I gently lift my head, Fawn looked better, better then yesterday.

She wasn't as pale.

I heard a grunt, looking to the side I see Leah slowly get up.

"Well your always the first awake." Leah said, plopping her butt onto the nearest chair.

"Yeah, I need to be."

"Reason?"

"It's nothing."

My eyes fluttered, trying to see things clearer.

"Leah I don't even know what to name my son." I blurted out, having to tell someone how I was feeling.

"Midnight.." I hear a soft voice say behind me.

"We-we sh-should name him Midn-ight."

Fawn.

I smiled, tears of joy pouring out of my eyes.

"Fawn! I was so worried I thought you-"

"I would never leave you, or my twins behind."

I smiled, gently kissing her on the forehead.

"So it's Midnight then?" I ask, eyebrow slightly raised.

"Yes, I thought about that name if we were to have a boy." She replied, grabbing my hand.

"It's settled then."

"Congrats to the married couple! Well, almost married.." Leah said, throwing her hands in the air.

"Shhh you will wake the twins!" Fawn snapped in a whisper tone.

Leah frowned and looked back at her phone.

Fawn looked at Dawn and midnight, her smile huge.

"They look like you." I said, Fawn stroking Dawns little brown hairs.

"Yeah, Dawn has your eyes." Her cheeks fainted with a slight red.

I smiled and pressed my forehead against hers.

She smiled, her eyes slightly closed.

She pulled away.

"Can you pass Dawn to me? please?" She asked, holding her hands out.

I gently picked sleepy Dawn up, her eyes starting to open.

I handed her to Fawn, Fawn could hardly handle her happiness.

She held Dawn in a cradle position, Dawn having a slight smile.

Midnight, slept soundly, I didn't want to wake him up.

This was the family I hoped for.

I never want it to slip away..

But it might when I tell my secret...
