Rigel's Pov
She had shut herself in her room for the rest of the weekend. We had tried to get her to come out but she just kept playing her violin, Not saying a word, but we knew. She had gotten another one. We didn't even, know how they got her number this time.
I got up from the couch with a sigh as the door bell went off mixing in with her music in a weird way. With the sound came the change. The tone changed and it was louder now.
I was was surprisee to find the four of them at the door. Shannon was biting her lip, Aliza was look straightfaced but worry was etched deep into her eyes. Rodrick looked bored and Eloy was looking past me listening to Celesta's violin.
"She is not at her vest right now, sorry." Shannon's eyes dropped. I swallowed. She was a curious one."But if you guys wish to try and coax her out of her room be my guest. The rest of us have failed in doing so." I opened the door widely and Aliza and Shannon were the first ones in as Rodrick sighed moving with Eloy.
"Mom, we have guest. Maybe our saviors." I yelled. Both of my parents stuck their heads out from the kitchen as the violin took a darker tone.
The violin pitched forward in an ugly way making me since and stopped suddenly with a crash. I ran past Eloy and Rodrick pulling both Shannon and Aliza to a stop wincing as something shattered. Once more a bang followed by intense in tone followed. I couldn't quite explain it. The tone was foreboding. As if it was trying to let something loose, like it was fusterated.
I glanced iver my shoulder to my parents who nodded their heads moving past us and up the stairs. We followed behind slowly not trying to make a sound.
"Where's Thatch?" I glanced down at Shannon who was shivering. "In my room. Why?" I shook her head. "In sorry but where is that... I really don't likely-" she was cut off when something else shattered and she was clinging to my side tightly making me since as she started to shake.
I peeked down at her then at her brother. He made shooting motion and and I sighed. She didn't just not like it, she was scared of it. I wrapped an arm around her and was moving.
I pushed my door open and Ghost hopped as Thatch squeezed in surprise. I pulled Shannon in and pushed her into my beanbag and shoved some headphones over her head and she looked up at me questionably. I pointed at my phone before plugging it in and I knew her Celesta's music was playing making Shannon smile.
"Ill be right back." I mouthed as I picked up Ghost and shoved him into her amrs and was walking away. I stopped just beside the door just as Aliza and Eloy called out. Nothing. She wasn't going to hear them. She was off in her own world trying to cope.
It made somewhat envious the way she was able to do it. The way she could just block out everybody and just play her violin. I never could. I was too worried about anyone who needed help.
So that's why I turned my phone off alot of the time. To force myself to focus. That's when my pictures were at their best, or so says my agent. I have a hard time believing that. I never felt right with the pictures. Something ways felt off, like the light was missing from the picture, they seemed dull to me.
I sighed and pushed the door open only pause in my tracks. It was several pictures that lay shattered on the ground. It was of them. Her and her so called friends. They were all laugjing having a good to,e around a bonfire.
Another one was of Celesta and Violet Rays. The two had been inseparable. Doing everything together and always going to each other for help, but something got in the way of the two.
He had been off the first time I saw him. He never felt right and I didn't like him in my photos, he always seemed to darkened things.
Violet had been madly in love with him. He never saw her. He was entirely focus on Celesta and her music. His name was Qusim. He had been attrive for a male and would have been perfect for a male model with his golden sun kissed skin, deep brown eyes, and night black hair.
He had been perfect too perfect. Celesta seemed have sensed that and stayed clear but he was always with Violet. He had learned that where ever Violet was, Celesta was close behind.
Violet had grown jealous and anger, taking it out on Celesta. And her so called crush, never came to the rescue. He had been trying to blackmail Celesta with the frame. It slowly ate away at her, even now.
"Celesta." Eloy whispered. She froze, the music coming a sudden stop putting the room into a deathly silence.
She turned looking over at us then to the ground releasing a long sad breath and dropping to her knees. Tears welled in her eyes. "Oh what have I done." She picked up the picture of her and Violet gingerly.
"I really am a fool." Set the picture atop her violin before turning to the glass wincing as she cut her skin. Eloy dropped to a knee and reached out sighed and stopping her from picking up and more glass. He took the one piece of glass from her hand shaking his head and pulling a rag from his pocket. "Didn't you say so yourself, little player, you're fine as long as you can play with your piece of wood. So don't hurt your hands." She looked up sadly as Eloy pulled a fresh can over to his side and picked up most of the glass himself and throwing it away along with the picture frame. "Come lets get you some fresh air little player." She smiled weakly. "Please stop calling me that."
