"What?" Jeremy rasped in his still half asleep state.
"Who's she?" I asked as I watched the woman snuggle closer to him in her sleep.
Jeremy woke up fully at my question and looked down at the woman on him.
"Gross I took a woman home. I need a shower." He pushed the woman off him in disgust and walked passed me still naked towards the bathroom.
I wanted to cry. Instead i stood there in shock.
"Babe you coming? I thought you got the hint when I said I need a shower." Jeremy called from the bathroom.
I numbly walked to the bathroom. "What happened Jeremy?"
"What?" He asked as he undressed for his shower.
"Why is she here? In your bed? Naked?" I couldn't stop the tears from falling
"We went out drinking. I sent you home after thay asshole touched you. I had a few more drinks after you left, one thing led to another now here we are. If your done with the interigation do you mind washing her off me?" He was so flippant about it. As if he hadn't just cheated on me.
"No."
"What?"
"I'm not washing you. I'm leaving." I was horrifide. He wanted me to just ignore the fact he was cheating on me?
Jeremy's face stormed in anger. "What do you mean 'leaving'"
"I've stood here and let you order me around. I've let you use me how ever you wanted and probably worst of all I let you get rid of my friends. For what? So you can wake up with someone else in your bed? This is it Jeremy, I'm leaving you." On the outside I tried to put on a brave face but internally I was about to throw up. What had it all been for? All the things I endored in exchange for Jeremy's love. At the end of that dark tunnle of horrible things Jeremy had done to me was a bright light that I had sworn to myself was his love. I told myself that Jeremy did everything for a reason. I have never stood my ground against Jeremy, not once. Because I loved him and I guess partly because things were always easier if I just listened to him.
"Your not going anywhere. You have five seconds to get undressed and in the shower right now or else Nikki." The threat was real but I didn't care anymore. He's already went beyond just hurting me physically. No physical pain could match the hurt I was feeling now. I wanted to cry so bad but first I had to get out of here.
"Bye Jeremy." I turned to walk back into the bedroom where the girl he slept with was now awake.
"Hey man I am so sorry I really didn't know he had a boyfriend!" She jumped up from the bed turning to glare at Jeremy as he fallowed me into the room.
"Listen hear Nikki! Your not steppy one fucking foot outside of this apartment." He ordered now completely pissed.
"No! I'm leaving. If you really wanted to keep me you wouldn't ne wakeing up with a naked girl in your bed and not even carring enough to say 'sorry'! You just assumed I wouldn't do anything about it! I'm done!" I turned to walk away once more but waa caught by the arm. He turmed me towards him. Not for the first time in our sick unbalanced relationship he hit me across the face. I didn't notice when the blonde chick had gotten dressed and out of the bed but suddenly I was free of Jeremy's painfull grip and Jeremy was flat on his face on the floor. One of the girls knees dug into Jeremy's back while she had his arm twisted at a painful angle.
"Whoa! Dang girl." I was in aww.
"I'm a county sheriff." She answered my silent question. "Please tell me I can call this dirt bag in and you will press charges. I hate those people that don't do anything about it because they 'love' them."
I bit my lip. What should I do? "I can't get him arested. I'm sorry. It's just. He has a very important job. If he has a record they'll fire him... I don't want to ruin his life. I just want nothing to do with him. I think thats enough."
She sighed in disappointment but got off of him. "Pack a bag your coming with me."
I was confused by this but was never one to question an order so went about doing as i was told. I grabed my gym bag and started to stuff it.
"Nikki! Don't listen to that bitch. She's the one I cheated on you with and your just gonna go with her?" Jeremy said as he began to stand up. The blonde woman knocked him down once more.
"Stay down and shut up."
This time Jeremy stayed down and watched me pack my life away.
"I don't know how to thank you. Whats your name anyways?" I looked at the blonde woman in admiration
"I'm Logan. No thanks necessary, lets go."
