So Luke's dad was a dick.
Well maybe someone who wasn't a, and I quote, 'fag who was too fucked in the head to follow gods will.' would have found the man charming but as I cleaned and iced the ugly bruise on Lukes face I definitely did not.
"You stay with us as long as you need to honey." my mom repeated as she fluttered around the living room cleaning just to have something to do with her hands.
"Thanks. I'm real sorry for putting you out like this ma'am." such a gentleman even at this moment.
"No trouble at all! We'll have the guest room set up for you, unless..." She looked at me questioningly.
"Unless what?" I asked absentmindedly still focused on Luke.
"He could just share a room with you." My mom replied nonchalantly.
luke's face turned bright read at the suggestion. He couldn't seem to speak in his mortified state so i spoke for him. I knew what he wanted to say anyway.
"Luke is a gentleman mom. He's not sleeping with me." I had asked him to several times after already have had sex with Mike and Jake.
My mother rolled her eyes. "Luke, your in the springtime of your youth! Now is the time to explore and enjoy yourselves. And double bonus, we don't have to worry about anyone getting pregnant. Mike and Angel have already had sex from the noises i heard last time he was over. And we both know there is no way Jake hasn't made a move on Angel. Don't you feel like your falling behind?"
I sighed. I wasn't really embarrassed, Luke knew everything about my relationship with the other two. I was just annoyed because my mom was making Luke feel insecure.
"Mom, please leave the room." My tone was filled with so much ice she didn't even argue.
I looked into Lukes eyes and leaned in to give him a peck on the lips. "Don't listen to her Luke."
"Are you sure? I mean I don't have any of the experience the other two have but if it would make you like me a bit more..." Luke mumbled.
My heart broke a little. "Stop that. Our relationship is different from mine and Mikes or mine and Jake's. It's not based on sex and frankly, I think we have a deeper relationship because of it. Ever since the first time all Mike and Jake want to do is have sex. Although i do enjoy it i love that i can call you up and we can just talk about nothing for hours."
Saying it out loud made me realize. Of the three of them, Luke was definitely the most important to me although hadn't thought about it until now.
"I think, I think I'm going to break up with them." The words left my mouth before I even really processed the thought.
Luke's eyes widened. "You don't have to do that Angel. I'm perfectly fine sharing. Please don't go it just cuz' you feel bad for me."
I shook my head. "Im not. I, I love you Luke. I don't think i could say the same to them with much confidence."
"Really? I LOVE YOU TOO!" he pulled me into a bear hug and laid kisses all over my face.
I giggled at his excitement. "calm down Luke."
