Before we start, I want to say sorry for not updating quick. Academic responsibilities. . . *sighs dramatically* anyway, I also added a Prologue at the beginning of the book because I realized there wasn't one. Enough said, let's get on with the chappy.

H A N N A H

While walking through the dim and narrow tunnel leading to the dungeons, I was already planning my escape plan. Yes, it may be a bit advanced, but it's better than nothing, right?

The torches on the walls lighted our way, but it wasn't that bright. It was actually very dim. I didn't like it, it made me feel uneasy. Perhaps, if I summoned more fire it would become brighter?

No. I thought, I'll just get beaten up. They'll just say, "you are not allowed to use your power!" Or "We will not allow you to escape!". I sighed, feeling as if I failed so much, I failed Magics Academy. . . I failed everyone!

"Ha--" Jake was about to say something before he was rudely interrupted by one of the guards.

"Shut it!" The guard walking behind Jake exclaimed.

I sighed, I hated being tied up and being locked up. I wanted to be free, I didn't like staying in one place. You can say, I like freedom. It makes me feel uncomfortable in one place for too long, I didn't know why.

"We've arrived." One of the guards said.

I gulped as he unlocked the door, revealing a long and wide room filled with cells with students in them. They all noticed us and started screaming for help. I sighed, didn't they notice I was tied up in some annoying enchanted rope? Probably not.

The place looked trashed, and it smelled that way, too. It smelled like rotting fish and rotten eggs, along with spoiled food and, well, trash. My nose wrinkled when I smelled the place, in my mind I sent a prayer above to help me get outta' here.

The men unlocked a cell and threw me and Jake in, locking it afterwards. The walls were made of stone, the windows had iron bars instead of glass. And the only 'windows' was the window of our door, so the only thing I saw was the hallway. No sunlight, only torch light.

It was dim so it was hard to see. I tried walking to the stone ledge on the wall to sit but bumped into Jake instead.

"Watch it, clumsy horse!" He exclaimed.

I pouted.
"I'm not a clumsy horse! I couldn't see--"

"Okay then, what about blind horse?" He said as he snickered in the darkness.

I sighed.
"Ugh, whatever." I said, sitting on the ledge. Soon, Jake sat beside me.

"We need a plan. . . " I heard him mutter.

I nodded.
"I know, I have one but I'm not sure it's going to work."

"Spill."

"Okay," I started. "I want you to yell for the guards that there's a demon in here, when they open the door to check, we knock them out. Aftwerwards, position them in place as dummies in replacement for us. We grab the jail keys and unlock every other cell."

I took a deep breath then continued.

"I'm sure there are only ten guards in here, so if we get Mellow, Luna, and Veronica out, as well as some other students, I'm sure they won't stand a chance. But, we should make sure one of them doesn't slip away to report what's happening to Monica,"

Jake, who was catching on, continued for me.
"Then, we can use our powers to blast a hole in the wall and get outta' here! We let the students escape first, but we have to do it quietly so that Monica won't stop us. While their escaping through the emergency escape route, we can try to get that sphere holding Re'eti's soul and powers, Lara, and Lunto and run for it."

"My thoughts exactly." I replied with a smile. "But, how exactly are we going to get the sphere from Monica. Plus, it's in her sling! And Lunto is tied up with the gods and goddesses know how many guards guarding him! Plus, Lara's. . . She's thinking like a demon how do we save her?!" It seemed hopeless.

Jake shrugged.
"I mean, when Monica falls asleep she shouldn't wear her sling, right? And most of the guards will fall asleep as well. As for Lara. . . I guess we'll have to kidnap her."

My eyes widened.
"Kidnap?! But. . . "

"Do you have a better idea?" Jake cut my sentence. I exhaled sharply. "Fine," I said. "We'll give it a shot."

And with that, we started discussing even more, the plan was happening tonight, 8:00 PM sharp.

I nodded at Jake, it's go time.

"Help! Please, help!" He exclaimed. "D-demon! There's a demon! Help!"

I grinned. He actually sounded convincing, he had great acting skills. Pitter patter was heard outside the cell. Me and Jake stayed at the side of the door and waited for it to open. When it did, we grabbed the planks of wood that had fallen from the ceiling and hit the men hard on their head, making them collapse in the process.

I grinned and high fived Jake then we ran out with caution and stealth. We slowly but surely walked to the cell of Luna and Mellow then unlocked the door. The lunged at us, making us stumble backwards. When they realized it was us, they helped is stand.

"Hannah, Jake?! How--"

I held a finger over my mouth.
"Chit chat later, escape now!"

They nodded and followed what I told them. We each had a key and unlocked cells, soon we stumbled across Veronica's cell and gave her our last spare key as she helped us. Once all the students were free, we explained the plan.
"So we only have to knock out all the guards we see?" One of them asked.

"Yes," Luna answered. "But don't let them escape once they've seen you, they might call for help or inform Monica."

They all nodded, almost in sync. After going through the plan once more, we moved to step two, knocking every guard we saw out. All we had to do is hit them hard on the hard head of theirs and boom! All good!

Me and my usual group and some other students headed towards the eastern wing of the school, AKA where the infirmary, library and dorms were. After knocking those nincompoops out, we advanced to step three, getting the heck outta' here.

At least, that was the other student's step three, ours was to get the sphere and Lunto, then step four was to 'kidnap' Lara. And by the looks of it, it won't be easy.
