Chapter 20 : Battle and unusual power

L U N A

I charged, I had a firm grip on my sword. Miss Chella- Monica noticed me, and created a powerful sound wave that can stop your hearing for one whole day. My eyes widened and covered my ears, pain crept into my head, but I managed.

I removed my hands from my ears and narrowed my eyes, she was powerful, that's proven.

"Hecta Vis!" I exclaimed and a harming spell escaped my palms. Monica dodged it swiftly, and while she was distracted, The Beast of Harmony shot a ball of green fire at her, making her scream in pain.

She shouted in frustration and cut my hearing for a while, which meant I couldn't hear anything.

I didn't care. I made poisoning dust enclosed in a Magic Sphere and shot it at her. It caused Monica sudden pain.

I slashed my sword at her with caution and efficiency, although Monica dodged with skill. Then it was her turn to attack, then we actually had sword fighting, then my hearing came back, and sudden clangs from our swords made out of rare crystals, gems or iron was heard.

Monica growled, and slashed at my stomach. I stumbled backwards... but I refused to give up. I continued to fight, I was able to give her painful injuries on her arms, legs and neck.

She shot another sound wave and I deflected it with my sword, making my fly backwards a bit, but the sound wave went straight towards Hannah, but Hannah was distracted, for she was looking for Lei, the agent.

I called her name, she turned around, but didn't notice the sound wave heading for her, I stood up and ran in front of her, and it hit me instead, the last heard was Hannah screaming my name... and the last thing I saw was bright white-red light.

M E L L O W

I stared in horror as I saw Luna collapse on the ground, my jaw dropped, it was painful to watch Hannah cry out her name.

Then... bright light appeared, and before I knew it, Hannah shot into the air, her eyes were shining white, her eyes were glowing. But the most peculiar thing about this... is that Hannah had feathery fire wings, but the wings was made out of light, it was the wings I saw before.

She shouted in agitation and shot fire balls with accuracy, three hit her.
Monica growled and started screaming, which echoed and made a strange vibration in our ears, like when someone's scraping metal upon another metal, the sound was agitating.

Hannah was affected, her flying became unsteady, so she landed, then... red light appeared, and before I knew it, Hannah had shot fire towards Monica's eyes.

"Aaarrrgg!" She exclaimed.
Holding her eyes. In anger, she summoned spirit like creatures that surround Hannah and started making irritating sounds that would most defiantly irritate anyone.

A faint voice came from the group of spirits.

"Monica..." it said, then a bright light exploded and all the spirits disintegrated and Monica flew backwards caused by the sudden force impact. The Beast of Harmony stayed firmly on the ground, then Hannah collapsed, her skin paler than ever, as well as Luna's.

Two days later...

Luna and Hannah haven't stirred one bit, it's been two days, and we've been worried sick, surprisingly, Jake was a worried too, although I wasn't exactly sure.

The Beast of Harmony stayed here a bit, too, since his cave was destroyed just yesterday by an attack, he was also able to provide us an Energy Crystal.

"Are they waking?" He asked gruffly.

I shook my head.
"No..." I sad sadly, and sighed.

I exited the infirmary and The Beast of Harmony, also known as Re'eti, he told us a couple hours ago.

Re'eti grumbled and flew out the large, large, large window.

While walking, I noticed Jade sitting on a bench outside, by herself.

That's new... she's mostly chatting with someone and never alone...

I went to her.
"Hey," I said.

She turned to me, then huffed.
"What do you want..." she said.

"I was just... wondering why you were alone... because... y'know."

She sighed.
"I just feel... guilty. I didn't really despise Hannah... I was just envious. Now, she's hurt and hasn't moved or opened an eye for two days. I've been bullying her, teasing her, but still, she didn't fight back. I'd really want to say sorry... but... she's not really awake right now," she sighed.
"I remember when we were kids, she was so sweet and kind, we were 9 then. Although, when bullies were around, she was like a different person. She suddenly becomes fierce and strong, she stands up for me and... she's just a nice girl."

I grinned.
"You could say sorry to her when she wakes, although you could choose when-"

"Mellow!" Kacey called, the Obstacle Course Club leader.

I turned to her.
"Hm? What happened?"

Her eyes were wide.
"Hannah and Luna are glowing different colors! And they're waking!"

I gasped, and went to the infirmary, Kacey followed although Jade stayed behind.

She was right, they were glowing! Hannah was glowing in a goldish color, while Luna was glowing in a dark royal blue color.

Hannah's arms moved, then she froze. Luna groaned, sat up. She rubbed her eyes, and looked around her, the first thing she saw was Hannah.

"Wh-what happened to Hannah?!" She exclaimed.

"She's still unconscious... don't worry, she'll pull through, she's a strong one." Kacey stated..

Luna nodded and stood up with ease, although Hannah moved, she still seemed unconscious.

Luna sighed.
"How long were we-"

"Two days." I said.

Luna sighed.
"Let's hope she wakes soon." She mumbles, then her stomach grumbled.

Mellow giggled.
"A bit hungry? C'mon, let's go. Re'eti will guard her."

"The Beast of Harmony? But-"

"We'll explain everything. Now let's go."

Then we left.

I ate the last piece of my sandwich, I believe I've eaten... six?

I listened to Mellow and Kacey and they explained everything to me, and it was all so surprising.

". . . And yeah. . . That's basically how things went. It was really tough at first, y'know, not having a proper headmaster. Chaos was everywhere! Until. . . Re'eti shifted into a human and volunteered to become the headmaster. He said it bothered him, all the chaos was frustrating and peace and harmony would be better." Kacey finished.

I nodded. Then I tingling feeling came to me. I gasped, Hannah!
