Chapter 10: "Is Everyone In Decent Condition?"

That night it had rained, putting out all the fires that were set. We didn't even go to our families. We were too weak so we simply slept the night away in the chamber Kuleer had showed us. The next day I woke up with bruises and sores all over my body, as well as everyone else.

"Is everyone in decent condition?" I asked.

"Decent condition, yeah," Nelle replied.

"This would be the perfect time to have Fiona here right now, I think I might have sprained my arm," Kaden said.

"Guys, I'm going to go out real quick, I'll be back soon," I announced.

"Try to find Fiona and bring her here," Shian asked.

"Okay," I replied.

I had to use all my strength just to stand up. I walked up from the chamber all the way to my house. When I open the door I see my Mom, Dad, and surprisingly Fiona at the kitchen table talking. My mom turns around and rushes to hug me.

"Glad to see you're still alive son," my dad said.

"I've been worried about you all day yesterday and today Zelphar!" my mom exclaimed. "Don't you ever scare me like that again!"

"Have you see Shian, Zelphar?" Fiona asked.

"Okay mom, and yes I have seen your sister. She's with the others in a chamber Kuleer had before he...passed. They are all injured and need help. If you cold follow me I'll show you where it is." I replied.

"You're not going anywhere young man!" my mom shouted.

"Please mom, I just need to take care of some things before I can come back home," I said.

"Enchil, let the boy do what he has to do. He just saved out kingdom, are you really going to tell him 'no'?" my dad asked.

"Fine," my mom replied. "Just promise you'll come back."

"I promise."

After my mom let me go I showed Fiona were me and my band were temporarily stationed.

"Oh my god, you poor things!" Fiona exclaimed. "I'm going to get more medics and I'll be right back!"

Soon enough Fiona came back with more medics and they fixed us all up. Before I went home I made a memorial for Seven Point, and attended Kuleer's funeral. Then I went home, and told my family of my adventures.
