Give me a pen, call me Mr. Benzedrine. But don't let the doctor in, I wanna blow off steam

Roman's POV
I was on my phone when Dimitri finally got out of the shower. He had been in their for at least twenty minutes, but I didn't feel like driving home.
"Hey Dimitri-" I began, then stopped, mouth still open.
He was dressed like a teachers aid, in khaki dress pants and nice shoes. He was wearing a white dress shirt, but it was unbuttoned, revealing his bare chest. His hair was neatly brushed.
He looked good.
"Hello, Rome." Dimitri smiled, taking a seat next to me. For once, he didn't smell like cinnamon or ammonia, just aftershave. "I don't know about you, but I feel thoroughly refreshed."
"Mhm." I nodded, still staring at him. I cleared my throat. "Uh, yeah."
Dimitri smirked. "So, it's Saturday. No school. You doing anything?"
"No," I shook my head hurriedly. "I was just going to drop by the dorms. Do you have something in mind?"
"Day on the town." He suggested. "Just go around, mess shit up."
"Sounds good." I agreed, nodding my head. He laughed. "What?"
"You look like a bobble head in an earthquake." He observed. I turned red.
"Was the detailed metaphor really necessary?" I mumbled. He stood up, gesturing for me to do the same.
"Absolutely."
—-------
I insisted on stopping by the dorms first, so I could change clothes and take a quick shower. I also insisted on driving, since I didn't yet trust Dimitri to cause my untimely death.
Both windows were rolled down, so the wind was rushing through the car. Dimitri's shirt was still unbuttoned, whipping through the air like a flag of truce. I tried to watch the road, but my eyes kept traveling to him.
I grinned as a love song came on the radio, a rock song that always made me wish for me. In the moment, it made me almost delirious from happiness.
"Who're you texting?" I asked over the combination of roaring wind and hard rock. He looked up.
"Cass, Mike-Ike, and my other friend who's up in New York." He shouted back. "We have a group chat, and were talking about the Halloween party you suggested."
"Oh yeah!" I had forgotten about the party amidst all my classes and drama. "What are you guys thinking?"
"We could throw it at our apartment, and you, Ryo, Almon, and our New York friend could come." He suggested. "We could throw it next Saturday, since Cass is leaving the following Sunday."
"Sounds good!" I nodded. "But please don't get too drunk."
"No promises." He flashed a devilish smirk. I turned back to the road, face red.
I finally pulled into the dorm parking lot, jumping out of the car. Dimitri stepped out, slow and leisurely like a tired cat. It was almost strange how he seemed to switch moods with his outfits.
When he was dressed in normal clothing, like the first day he met, nothing seemed out of the ordinary with him. He hadn't really caught my attention much at all.
The next few days when he was dressed in the entire goth getup, he seemed more reckless and daring, but also... deeper, introspective at times.
And today he was confident, cocky, even, like he owned the world.
"Man, a lot of people go to these dorms." He observed as a group of students passed us. A few girls stared at partly-shirtless Dimitri, smiling. He winked.
"Yeah, it's a popular place." I responded, ignoring the small spark of jealousy in my mind. "Good area, good classes-"
"Good looking." Dimitri flashed a passing boy a smile, who I recognized from a few of my classes a shy and mild mannered boy. He turned red, walking faster.
"Are you gay or not?" I finally asked, stopping and facing him. "Are you bisexual? A very flirtatious straight dude?"
Dimitri smirked, shaking his head. He wrapped his arm around my neck, pulling me along.
"One hundred percent gay." He finally answered, to my surprise. "I just think that everyone is beautiful, and it would be a shame to not let them know it."
"I can't decide if that's sweet or something a player would say." I mumbled, but I felt relieved for some reason.
"You don't need to decide." He smiled, rubbing my head. "Anyways, the gay life is the life for me. Now, lead me to your dorm! I miss my younger brother."
When we walked into the room, Almon was sitting on his bed, reading. The second we opened the door, he jumped like we had fired a gun.
"Seen a ghost, Almond?" Dimitri laughed, put a piece of paper in Almon's book as a bookmark and closed it.
"Um, no." Almon's mumbled. Then louder, "How was the concert?"
"Good." Dimitri answered before I could say anything. He shot me a glance that quite clearly said 'Don't say a damn word'.
"Anyways, I'm going to take a shower." I announced, grabbing a pair of jeans and a shirt. "I'll be back soon. Don't kill each other."
