Maybe Tonight,Maybe Never

Chapter 5

It's about 2am and I still can not sleep. I keep thinking of him and how he used to be. He has changed so much since then. I hate his whole existence yet something I feel deep down keeps my mind busy. I turn in my bed and I look up at the enormous roof. Although I can't sleep my bed is very comfortable so I wasn't to annoyed. The roof looks heavy and it feels like it might fall on me any moment and I will probably be pretty dead. Just as I eventually get the right position I start to drift away into a deep sleep but I seem to be woken up by a door slowly creaking open. Raikunai walks in with a soft smile on his sharp face.

"Are you okay?"

"What do you care? I am fine!"

"I really care for you... I...l" He hesitates and continues talking.

"I still love y..."

I interrupt his sentence by blurting out all the hate and emotions I had bottled up.

"Why would i ever believe you? You held me captive for 8 years! You killed my hopes and dreams the minute I felt something for you. Why would I ever believe that you still or ever loved me in the first place! Do you understand the pain and suffering you caused me? You said you loved me and then went on to drive a knife into my back! I regret ever felling anything for you. How dare you play with my heart like that?

And then I said something even I knew was to far.

"You are just a robot you won't ever understand how it feels to ever really love someone"

The moment the words come out I see his face change. I wish I just kept my mouth shut.

"I...did...I loved you. I might be JUST a robot but I can still have feelings. You should get to know the real me before you say such things!" as he says that he comes closer to me and sits right next to me I jump up and move a bit to my right so that there is some distance between us. I want to apologise but I stayed quiet.

After a long moment of dead silence I finally spoke.

"If you loved me why did you hurt me?"

"Because that was my orders" He stares at me and I see the hurt in his eyes for the first time. Could I have been mistaken? The things he did. Was that really him?

"What....you don't take orders you give orders ...are you saying you......Raikunai the leader of al the robots have a 'master'?"

"Yes .....i do ...."

"What ...hah...ok who is it then?" I don't believe him for a minute he just wants me to feel sorry for him. But I might sorry but just a very little bit.

"His name is ....Dorian"

My heart completely stopped at that point. How is this possible. Dorian ....out of all the people who it could be why did it have to be Dorian. I struggle to get any word out.

"Wha...Wha..?

"Whats wrong?"

"Dorian....is my father!"
