Maybe Tonight,Maybe Never

Chapter 9

Raikunais POV

I can't believe she is gone. What should I be thinking of now?

"Guards get ready to search the whole town!"

My heart feels as though it stopped working. We were so close to that kiss. I wish I took it earlier. I love her more then she could comprehend. I regret everything I have done in the past. She means so much to me. I have to find her and fix my mistakes.

Time goes by and I hear nothing of the guards. I think its time I go out myself. Since I am not allowed to go out alone I will sneak out at night.

There is a secret door in my chambers that only I know of. That night I took to finding Franky alone. I waited for everyone to fall asleep before I snuck out.

When I closed the secret door I forgot that it makes an immense sound if I do not close it slowly. Long cracking noises dance through my chambers and the guards outside noticed I am gone. Immediately they alert the rest to find me as soon as possible.

"Oh no"

I quickly run out to the garden of the mansion. I look back but only see panicking guards.

"Haha," It's a little funny how they freak out.

I know of a road that her robot could have taken her on. I can't see Franky as the one to have a robot as a friend. Anyway, I can see light coming from the cave a few steps from me. Might that be her?

"Franky!" I yell out.

Suddenly someone jumps out of a nearby tree and tackles me to the floor. It's a robot.

"Get off me now!"

"NO, I will not let you kill my best friend!" The robot answers.

"Who are you? Are you the one that took Franky away from me?

"Away from you? You are the craziest person I have ever seen. She is not yours. She never was and she will never be. She is my best friend and she will be the one to kill you."

"Has she not told you of her past? I guess that might be the truth. She is not mine now but I will win her back." I say with the last breath in my lungs as she is still on me. I push her off and get ready to fight for my love.

"Back? What are you talking about? She never liked you. Franky run!" She yells out. I see in the far background that Franky comes out from hiding. She doesn't run. She only stares at me. I can see she does not want to go away from me. I know that she might hide it but she also feels for me.

"Franky!" I yell.

"Don't leave. Please"

"Franky do not come here just run away and get away from this murderer," The robot says.

Franky stands still. She does not move. After a long silence, Franky slowly walks towards us. She has a bleak face. Staring forward past the robot and me. She stops in front of us both and she slowly moves her head from the robot to me. She is in grave pain. I can feel it. I just want to hold her and make her happy again.

"Franky, what the hell are you doing?" The robot asks.

"Sam please try to understand what I am about to tell you, Please do not hurt Raikunai, Just listen and try to understand my situation," Franky says in a low sad voice.
