Maybe Tonight,Maybe Never

Chapter 12

Nothing but darkness. No feeling in my body. Just nothing.

My eyes are closed but I can hear everything that is happening around me. My eyes open slowly and a vision of a big, open, black room. There was one door just a few feet away from me. I tried to stand up and get away but my arms and legs were tied to a chair. Crap I am in big trouble. Suddenly I remember...Sam!

I pull at the rope to get my arms out but nothing helps. Sam...no...I could have done better. No. Just then the door in front of me opens and a very tall, slim man enters. He looks familiar but I can't put my finger on it.

"I have been looking for you Franky, for so long," The man said.

"What? Who are you? Where is Sam?"

"That robot? You actually care about that thing?" He said angrily.

"What the hell do you want!" I yell

"I want you.." As he said that he came closer and the little bit of light showed his face...

"...to join me Kid"

"Dad..."

No this can't be he...he. I struggle to understand what is happening while sorts of emotions flow through me. I tugged at the rope again. Still nothing.

"Why are you struggling daughter?" He asked.

"No! You answer me first. Why are you doing this?"

"I have built an empire. I have all control over everything and you can have that too. Stop struggling and work with me. We can rule the whole world." As he said that he began giggling like a typical evil guy in movies.

"Dad please let me go. This is wrong. I won't help you." I tried very hard to hold back the tears but it didn't work. I started softly crying.

"Well, maybe this will convince you," He said that and quickly moved to a dark corner. He flicked on a light and my heart stopped and I froze in horror.

"Sam!" I yell out. Sam was hanged from the wall. There were chains that held her up. She was near death and parts of her were hanging by a thin wire. She needs y help. My heart felt like it had broken into thousands of pieces. How could my father the man I thought was dead? The man I thought was good. How could he? I called out in anger.

"I swear I will kill you right now!" I shout. All I can feel is anger and heartbreak.

"You won't kill your own father. I know you, Franky. You are weak. I can make you stronger. If you stop loving people. Stop feeling emotion. Your life would be so much better. Join me and leave this horrible life behind."

"I would never betray my friends. I will never join you. You are nothing to me"

"Very well then you leave me no choice"

My father walks up to Sam and flicks another light that lit up a wall full of tools that usually is used to dismantle computers.

"No!" I shout.

My father takes a screwdriver and drills into Sam's head. He takes out piece by piece. He slowly drains her of life and I sit there helpless. I hate this feeling. I hate my Father. He killed the only person who was there for me from the start. I start to fully sob. Suddenly the door slams open and a dead robot falls down to the floor.

"What the hell?" My father said.

He dropped his tools and went to look at the robot when Raikunai slams a fire extinguisher into his head. He takes a few steps back and drops to the floor. He stands up and Raikunai and my father start fighting. I saw my opportunity to get out of these ropes. I was so thankful that my hands were very sweaty that it made the ropes slid off. I got lose and ran to Sam. She is gone. I couldn't handle the pain I felt. I heard Raikunai call out and I saw my father on top of him. I ran to Raikunai and I jumped on my Father. My father slamed me to the wall and I broke my wrist. Raikunai kept fighting and he was held down by my father. Raikunai got his second wind and he kicked my father in the gut. My father fell backwards and Raikunai jumped on him and started punching him without stopping. Then. My father pulled out his gun and shot at Raikunai. The first shot just graced his arm and blood started flowing out. Wait...he is bleeding. He is human? Raikunai wrestled my father for the gun and after a while he got the gun and didn't think twice before shooting my father and killing him.

Raikunai came to me and helped me up. He looked at my wrist and said he could help fix it later I should just not move it to much.

"Raikunai...you are bleeding. How?"

"I only have parts of me that is robot not everything. I am still human."

"And you waited until now to tell me?"

"I didn't think you would care but we can finish this later we need to upload Sam to a new robot body"

"What? She isn't dead?"

"Well the body is but she knew this would happen so she uploaded her consious and gave it to me to keep safe. Let us go"

I looked back at what was my father lying on the ground. I felt sad but releaved that, that horrible man is gone.

*Few days later*

"Sam come help me give the food out to the people"

"I am coming"

We managed to open the door to the food strorage and we let all the people go. We gave away some food for the people and we started a new community.

"There is my wife" Raikunai calls out.

"I have been looking for you Franky. You are late for our date night"

"Ohh I totaly forgot. I am coming"

We repopulated the world and discovered more places with humans and it was almost back to how it was. I am happy to say that was a pretty good ending indeed.
