Maybe Tonight,Maybe Never

Chapter 10

Franky's POV

"You what?" Sam asks with a screack in her voice.

"You heard me Sam. It's true. Raikunai and I where together and I still have feelings for him. I love him"

"How can this be? Have your forgotten about how he treated you? How he hurt you?"

I can not keep my secret forever. I have to tell her everything I feel for Raikunai.

After I told Sam the truth she had gone bleak. She didn't say a word. She just looked straight at me. After a while Raikunai spoke breaking the silence.

"I... I love you too" He says.

Raikunai said he loved me too. I didn't think he had such feelings although I should have known from all the signs. He slowly walks towards me and I walk towards him. His arm wraps around my waist and he pulls me close. Once again our lips get close. But. Just before we could kiss Sam steps in and ruins the moment. She explains how much she still hates Raikunai but would not kill him considering that her best friend has feelings for him aka me. She says that she would always keep an eye on him 24/7 and that he isn't safe. He then laughs and says that he will sleep with one eye open. Moments later we got tired and we knew that we had to make up a plan soon because Raikunai decided to help us save the world but that is what his master and guards could not know. He would be killed if this news would get to anyone that it should not have.

"Okay so we know now that we can not trust anyone but each other" He says

"Waw stating the obvious much" Sam says sarcastically.

"Shut up Sam" Raikunai blurts out.

"Okay you guys stop it please" I take Raikunai's arm and lead him to our campfire. Sam follows behind.

We talk for much later and get very sleepy. After about 2 hours we decided to go to sleep. I woke up to Raikunais arm around my waist. I like this. I do not want to move away from him at all. I move my hand to his face and cures his cheek. Seeing him so close brings a smile to my face. I move closer and try to kiss him. He suddenly wakes up. He looks so calm and happy and yet I see sadness in his eyes. I want to take care of him. It is so sudden how we had fallen beck in love with one another. But I guess I never stopped loving him. He looks me right into my eyes and I feel he can read my mind. My hand retracts back to my chest as we speak with our eyes. I feel like it is just us in this world but this thought quickly fades when Sam wakes up and starts packing up. She has a talent for ruining the moment but I can't judge her to harshly. She has taken care of me for so long she just wants me to be safe. She truly is my best friend.

"Come on wake up we have to move" Sam says with a hint of annoyance in her voice.

"5 more minutes" Raikunai yawns and sighs.

"GET UP NOW!" Sam roars making Raikunai jump up in shock. She actually managed to scare the all so mighty Raikunai.

"Haha" I start chuckling at Raikunai's cuteness.

"What is so funny to you?" He asks in embarrassment.

"Sorry... geez" I roll my eyes at him and he sees it instantly he jumps for me and starts to tickle me. I cry out and try to stop him but he overpowers me. I can't be strong when someone tickles me. I lose all my strength. He pins me down to the viridescent grass and we both start laughing out loud.

"Will you ever tease me again?" He asks with a deep voice.

"I would never tease my King" I play along to his game.

"If thou wishes to keep her life she would refer to me as All Mighty. And thou shan't ever mock the All Mighty or be banished to the depths of the ground" He jokes and grins.

"Okay guys stop we need to go on the move soon please just help me here" Sam is really getting annoyed with us. I wish she understood my feelings. We helped Sam and we were on the move once again. Off to find my father and save what little is left of humanity.
