This could be my way out. "You are right, we should be together, you can offer me so much more than what Ryder can, I am sorry I didn't see it until now."

I lied, praying that he would believe it. Lance smiled and stood up, "Well, I knew that. Don't worry, you will never have to see him again."

He kissed my lips and he tried to deepen it. I pushed him away, "I think that we should save all the fun until our honeymoon, so, I think that you should get starting on the wedding. This Saturday?" I asked.

His smile grew wider and he sprinted out of the room. It was Thursday and I was given two days to escape.

The next day, I was looking out of the window when Lance came charging in after me. He grabbed my neck and slammed me against the wall. "You are pregnant with that monster. How dare you not tell me." he screamed in my face with the test in his hand.

I forgot about the test, it was positive.

I squirmed under up, he pushed me to the ground and lifted me up by my hair. He dragged me downstairs and into the basement.

He took me to my old cage and somehow, I felt like I was home. There was the bloodstain from the first. He locked the cage and stormed off upstairs, leaving me in tears.

Two hours later, there was a commotion upstairs, I stayed silent, praying that it would be someone coming to save me.

The basement door flung open and someone was thrown down the stairs, I looked closer to see Ryder. He saw me and his eyes widened. "This idiot broke into my house trying to save you." Lance glared, walking closer. Lance dragged Ryder over and pushed him into the cell next to me. He pulled out a chair and sat down smirking.

"Story time." He laughed, bile rose in my throat. I sat back on my bum and pulled my knees to my chest. This was going to be a long evening.

Sorry, Ryder. You are not going to like what you are going to hear next. Ryder looked at me confused, "Ryder. Your spawn isn't the first child that Cassy gave birth to, is it darling?" he laughed. Ryder
