*A Week Later*

Nothing eventful has happened in a while. Honestly my life is really boring right now besides Josh. He indeed has remembered to remind me that he thinks I'm perfect everyday. I honestly down know what I'd do without him. I was excited for tonight though, Josh and I had a date. A real one this time. He was taking me to a little boardwalk on the beach. I wasn't supposed to know but I saw it on his calendar. We'd been spending a lot of time together lately. He's honestly nothing like what I thought he was before I really knew him. He's just sweeter and more caring. He's been doing everything for me and it's adorable. The other day we were texting and I said I was hungry and he came to my house with Chinese takeout a couple of minutes later.

I decided that I need to get up and actually get ready for my 'surprise date' . Well, he had told me he was taking me somewhere but I wasn't supposed to know where. I took a shower and choose to were light washed, ripped jeans and a moon phase loose tanks. I wore some back and gray vans with it. I walked into the bathroom to do my makeup and I realized I had no idea how to do my hair. Should I fishtail it? Am curl it? Straighten it? The struggles of being a girl.

"Uhhh." I groaned aloud. I texted Abby and picture of my outfit and asked which hairstyle. She replied almost immediately, "STRAIGHT BÆ" I laughed and quickly blowed dryer it and straightened it.

I looked at the clock which read 5:12 PM. I smiled because josh was picking me up at 5:15. I ran downstairs and sat while I waited for him. I Only waited for a moment before I heard him knock. I walked and looped my arm around his.

"Hello, you look gorgeous Stella. I'd lIke to remind you that I think you're perfect and I'm amazed that I get to call you mine. You continue to amaze me with your personality." Josh said as we got into his car. I kissed his cheek and giggled.

"You're such a charmer Josh." I joked.

"You just make me so happy Stella. I'm not kidding when I say I think you're perfect." He said seriously which made my heart soar. I just messed up his hair and he smiled.

We were at the boardwalk in minutes. I did the whole 'wow! I can't believe you took me here thank you!' Thing even though I knew he was taking me here.

"What do you want to do first?" He asked me but I already knew.

"Win me a bear Josh!" I begged with my lip out. We were at one of those muscle tester things were you hit the game and the thing would pop up and if you hit the bell you won. I loved them but due to the fact I had less arm muscle than a snake I never won. And yes I know snakes don't have arms. Do you see what I'm implying?

"Of course. Theses babies could win anything." He said while flexing which made me laugh. He payed the man and grabbed the giant hammer thing. He hit the thing as hard as he could and it sailed to the top. I jumped up and down when the man have josh a giant sea horse. I grabbed the horse and spun around with it in my arms.

"thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!" I yelled,"I'm gonna name it Sosh, for Stella and josh you know?"

"Sounds wonderful." Josh said kissing my head. I grabbed his hand and we rode a few rides. After that we say down on a being and looked at the stars. It was 7:00 now and pretty dark. All the stars were out and it was gorgeous.

"You see that star?" Josh asked me. I mumbled a "mhm" and he contined, "Lets call that our star."

I smiled and kissed his cheek and snuggled up to him for a while. Being with Josh made me so happy. Josh said he had to go use the restroom and got up. I knew he'd be gone a whole because it was on the other side if the boardwalk so I just looked at the stars for a while. Eventually someone sat down beside me. I looked over and saw Jake. My heart sped up and he looked at me. I smiled at him and he began to talk.

"Hey, you look lovely." He said while smiling.

"Thanks. You look nice too." I said back.

"Stella I need to tell you something." He said while scooting closer to me.

"Yes?"

"Okay, I've liked you for a long time. I've liked you since 7th grade. We are graduating soon now! I can't live without you knowing how much I like you Stella. You're everything, gorgeous, funny, caring, smart. Everything. There's not a flaw in you. I know you're with that guy but, please think about us. I want there to be an us. I think I love you Stella. I don't know why but I think I do. You might not feel the same but you're all I want. You should be with me." He said grabbing my hand.

I stared at him for a moment and then I noticed we were both leaning in. Our lips touched for a moment and I melted. We stayed like that for a moment before I pulled away. I can't do this to josh. That's not right.

"I- I have to go." I stuttered and ran.

I ran into some and began to apologize when I looked up and saw it was just josh. My face got red and I felt horrible. I just cheated on him. On this amazing boy who meant the world to me.

"Let's go to the Ferris wheel." He offered and smiled.

I nodded my head and smiled weakly hoping he didn't suspect anything was wrong. He didn't seem to as we walked to the Ferris wheel though which I was grateful for. We got in line and made out way to the front. We got in one of the row/seat things. I wasn't saying much at all mainly because I was so ashamed. Josh didn't seen to notice though. The ride started and we both were silent. It stooped when got to the very top which was amazing. When you looked down you could see all the lights of the boardwalk in the night sky. It was magical and I forgot my problems for a moment. That was all shattered when I heard josh say something I don't believe I'll ever forget.

"Stella, I think I'm in love with you."
