It's time. It is very much time. I am going to him again. Josh Hutcherson.
"STELLLAAAA!" I heard Abby yell from downstairs, "YOU HAVE BEEN STRAIGHTING YOUR HAIR FOR OVER AN HOUR."
Well yes, I have been but I had to look perfect.
I had been awake from 8:00 a.m. getting ready, and now it 2:30 and I'm still getting ready.
You see I have done everything to make sure I look better than ever.
I looked in the mirror one last time. I was wearing some high-waisted black shorts with a white blouse and my black vans. I had straightened my hair and wore it over my shoulders... May I add it looked perfect today? I wore nude foundation to give myself a natural look and wore a reasonable amount of my quite expensive mascara that doesn't clump. I wore my baby lips and made sure they didn't look wrinkled. All in all... I looked perfect.
"Okay I'm done!" I yelled back to Abby, "Let's go!"
I was so excited to finally see him again.
I ran downstairs and we walked towards the place where we first met. I assumed he'd be walking there again today because it was the same time we met last time.
"Oh, someone looks H-O-T." Abby smirked when I stepped off the stairs.
"You know it." I said confidently.
We strolled out of the house and started to the trail we first met on. Then I began to get second guess about this...
"you know what? I can't do this. I'll make a fool out if myself!" I started to turn around and try to go back to my house.
"No. You listen here," Abby said while grabbing me, "you're just scared because you think you'll make a fool out of yourself... Which you probably will but he thought you were pretty while you were sweaty from running! So he's going to think you're drop dead gorgeous now!"
I contemplated what she said and then started strolling to the pathway again.
--------
We must have sat there for atleast an hour.
"This was stupid," I began, "he's probably not even going to com-"
Then I heard someone running closer to us.
I leaned over to Abby and whispered, "HE'S COMING! WHAT DO I DO? OH IVE GOT IT! FOLLOW MY LEAD."
I pulled her down on the ground and motioned her to look like she was trying to find something.
Then he saw us.
"Oh! Hey Stella the redhead. May I ask what you're doing?" Josh asked.
"Hey josh! Didn't know you'd be here... I'm trying to find the earrings that must've fallen out of my ears while we ran into eachother." I said smiling.
"But you weren't wearing earrings..." Then he glanced at my ears, "Stella, your ears aren't Pierced."
"Oh... Uh... I..." I said at a loss for words, but then he smiled.
"I know you want to explain the phone situation to me right? Or did you really mean to give me the rejection hotline?" He said winking.
"Of course not. I'm really sorry. " I said smiling.
"So who's your friend?" Josh said nodding towards Abby, who was in complete awe in the sight of josh.
"Abby, my best friend." I said trying to get Abby to say something.
"Hello, well I hate to go but I think you two need to talk over some things..." Abby said winking and then running away towards my house.
"Sorry about that... She's odd." I said laughing.
"It's okay, I am too!" Josh said back.
"So I'm guessing you want my phone number?" I said.
"No. I don't." Josh said completely straight faced. "I want you to come to lunch with me. A date perhaps?" He said smiling.
I was in awe.
"Well. Of course. But here's my number So we can schedule." I said while giving him a price of paper I had already written before we left.
"I'm looking forward to it." Josh said and then we said our goodbyes and we went our separate ways.
