So listen to redo by modern baseball with this chapter because why not and okay.
"Good morning!" I heard a familiar voice say when suddenly a body was jumping onto the bed, causing me to open my eyes, letting the sunlight from the window sink into my eye sockets. I groaned and pushed Jake off of me.
"Why are you getting me up so early?" I whined, sitting up to check the time.
"11:00 in the afternoon isn't exactly early to most people." Jake smirked through his voice.
I got off the bed and wrapped my arms around Jake's torso.
"Good morning to you anyway." I said kissing him on the cheek before bouncing off to the bathroom to brush my hair.
"You know your mom comes home soon!" Jake said, appearing at the doorway.
I sighed but smiled, although she was a pain in the butt sometimes, she was my mom and I loved her. I took a moment to realize all she'd been through, with dad leaving and all.
"Yeah I know! I'm excited. I can't believe she gets back the afternoon of the first day of my senior year though, you'd think she'd want to be here for my first day of my last year in high school." I walked out the bathroom and over to my closet to pick out what to wear today. Jake noticed and walked back into the bedroom too. He sat down on my bed and turned on my T.V.
"Why are you getting dressed?" He asked me, mainly focused on whatever was on the television.
"Well, before my mom left, she left me a pretty huge amount of money to 'live off of', and technically she never said I couldn't use that to get me back to school clothes." I smirked and pulled Jake off the bed and began shuffling him downstairs. "Now go home and get dressed and meet me back here whenever you're done, make it snappy if we don't hurry then the mall will be crowded by the time we get there."
------------
And it WAS crowded by the time we got there, apparently everyone did their shopping for school clothes today too, August 18, and school started the 21.
"Okay, where do you want to go first?" Jake asked me.
"Hot topic, I need some new band shirts, then urban outfitters, then American eagle, then the food court, then victoria's secret, you won't be there for that one, and maybe just a couple more places here and there. Sound good?" I asked him.
"I completely disagree with your rule about VS but yeah, sounds chill." He laughed and I hit him in the arm playfully.
"Calm your teenage boy hormones." I said as I began to drag him into hot topic.
He immediately recognized a worker there, a boy with light pink hair, bright blue eyes, and high cheek-bones. His nametag read Kyler.
"Jake! What's up?" He said cheerfully, I noticed he had his lip peirced and his nose peirced, both of which I was playing to get soon. He had small gages too. I saw a tattoo poking through the hem of his shirt but I couldn't make out quite what it said.
Jake smiled and gave him one of those guy hug things. "Nothing really, just shopping with Stella."
"Oh, hey Stella. Well, Jake, I've got to go help out that girl over there, she doesn't really need help but she's hot so I'll see you around!" Kyler walked away. He seemed really cool.
"Who's that?" I asked.
"Kyler, he used to live next door to me, helped me sneak out a lot until he moved." Jake said walking over to a Blink-182 shirt he seemed interested in. He held it up to me and moved his eyebrow up.
