Chapter 12 - childhood memories

After we all got inside and comfy, mom started on washing a few clothes, Charlie was making a bottle for Kei, while Niall & myself sat on the sofa. Niall had Keilynn laying on his chest, he had an arm wrapped around me. I had my head on his shoulder.

"There are so many memories from growing up here....."

I wasn't talking to anyone specific, just talking out loud. Niall lightly chuckled and kissed my head.

"Ha, yeah like when I first met Charlie & your 4 older brothers."

"Haha, that was the day that Charlie had surgery done & was still on the pain meds." I couldn't help, but remember that entire day. It wasn't the normal way a girls parents would meet her boyfriend.

**FLASHBACK**

Niall & I were in 11th grade. He had, had his license for a year now, I had just got my license. It was a Friday morning. Niall was picking me up for school. I was getting my book bag when the door bell rang. I quickly answer it, when I open the door Niall was standing there in dark jeans, a pink polo shirt, and his white DCs, his hair all done up, and like always he had his smile on his face that every girl would die for. I was wearing pink jeans, a cute dark blouse, and matching boots with a little heel, & my hair was curled.

"Good morning baby girl ! Ready to go?"

"Good morning to you too love ! Yeah, just let me get my bag." I quickly grabbed my bag, yelled bye to my mom who was upstairs.

"Ready! Alright let's go!"

Niall unlocked the car, he took my bag from me & put it in the back seat with his. Then he opened the passenger door for me. Once I was buckled, he shut my door and went to the drivers side. He hoped in, shut his door and started the car. We pulled out of my drive way & headed to school. Once we got to school he parked, got out, got both of our bags, opened my door, shut it & locked the car. We walked into the school building hand in hand, we did what we usually do every morning, we went to the commons (Lunch Room) sat at our table & talked with friends. The bell rang for us to go to 1st period. We all got up and Niall walked me to my classroom. We went through our daily classes. Once the final bell range for us to leave school, Niall & I met at our usual place, we headed out side the school building to his car. Luckily the parking lot wasn't busy & everyone had already left. We got to his car & got in. He started the car & started driving out of the school. We were talking about our days, when my phone started ringing. I looked to see who is was, it was my mom. I quickly answer it wondering what's up. She usually doesn't call me unless something has happened.

"Hey mom, is everything okay?"

I looked over at Ni & he gave me a funny look like 'what's happening'.

"Hey Mase! Listen everything is okay, but Charlie is getting emergency surgery done on his hand."

"What hospital are y'all at?"

"We're at the Wellstar hospital, the only one close to Niall's house."

"Okay, we're will be there in an hour. Do y'all need anything? Food, stuff from the house?"

"No, I already packed us a few bags of food & clothes. Be carful! Love y'all!"

"Alright, we'll see y'all in a few. "

I pressed end on my phone after I said bye to mom. Niall took my hand in his and rubbed his thumb over my nucleus.

"Every thing okay love?"

"Not really, Charlie is in the ER. He's getting surgery done on his hand."

"Do you want me to go with you? My mum is home, she won't mind love"
