The sun rises, a dusk starts seeping through the tower. It is 7:00 AM and Luce is taking the same walk she did a few days ago. The fresh air in the mornings on the tower are always clean. Luce takes complete advantage. Except this time, in a few hours she has her old fireteam join her in a attempt to bring Dead Orbit and Daito to their senses, so that the pointless fighting can stop. Taking in deep breaths, as she looks down upon the city, looking to the east knowing the resistant factions lie somewhere in that direction. Luce meditates on her words, what she will will say too Arach Jalaal, do her best to bring peace without bloodshed and destruction, the very thing this city needs too avoid. Luce needs advice.
"But who too ask?" She thought.
She decides to walk over to Master Rahool, take any advice he has to offer. As he is one of the more wise people on this tower.
"Hello Master Rahool" Luce greets.
"Greetings guardian! what brings you too me?" Rahool replies.
"Im sure you have heard the news, me and my team are going to make an attempt to stop the war, as now we know the full situation, and we know why it wont end. Today this will change" Luce explains.
"Well it seems like you have it all under control Luce" Rahool clarifies.
"Thats just it though, I feel like I dont, I want to say the perfect thing to Arach and Cree, prevent anything and everything I can, but I feel as though I dont have enough confidence." Luce mentions.
"Guardian, our physical abilities and powers come from the light the Traveler provides, not how we think and choose what to say, that is completely on us. Listen, Luce you have always been smart, say the right thing, remember how aggressive these 2 faction leaders can be. Be calm, but to the point. Remind yourself that the cities potential fate lies in what you say. But no matter what you do, do not let them take your life, any of your friends lives. Guardian light is one of the most precious things humanity has ever experienced." Rahool explains to Luce.
"Thank you Master Rahool, I will take what you said into consideration." Luce assures
"May the Traveler guide your way guardian" Rahool replies.
Time passes and the sun has risen higher into the sky, 2 hours have flown by without Luce even realizing it. Now, at 9:00 AM, Kaleka and Xeno-3 are at the meeting point in the center of the courtyard.
"Good morning you two, sleep well?" Luce asks
"I think i did, im ready for today at least" Xeno replies.
"Yea, was pretty decent" Kaleka replies second.
"I am glad to hear that you two. I hope the others arrive soon. it is getting late already." Luce continues.
Another 15 minutes past, and Ion-5 along with Zara and Jasper trailing behind him. Ion in his battle gear while Jasper and Zara are in the same armor as yesterday.
"Ah! finally, Jasper and Zara, you do realize how important this will be right? that we could potentially end 10 years worth of fighting?" Luce explains.
"Yes, and were gonna have lots of fun doing it." As Jasper and Zara laugh together.
"I have no idea how you guys are gonna enjoy negotiating, but okay, whatever you two say. Luce says.
"Ion I see you are ready my new friend, more then ready at that." Luce mentions to him.
"I have fought both of these factions countless times, they dont play around. I do believe negotiating will stand a chance, but if not, they do not hold back any violence." Ion explains to the group.
