Chapter 4

As me and hayes walked to the park, I didn't really know what to say. About a million girls love him and I'm walking with him to the park! "so do you wanna go on the swings?" hayes asked me. he was probably trying to break the awkward silence. "Haha, sure" I replied. "I'll beat you there!" hayes yelled back to me. "no you won't!" I said as I ran after him.

We reached the swings, "so tell me about your self. I mean I barely know you since we have never talked a lot before." hayes says as he started to blush. "well, I like soccer, umm I play that a lot. umm I have a brother named kevin. I also like to watch vine-" I was just about to finish until hayes said "wait you like to watch vines!?" he said with excitement. "yeah! I have an account and I love nash's vines!" I said. I was really happy that him and I were carrying on a conversation! after we got to know each other, I looked at the time. it was already 7:00. the sun was setting. "wanna go watch the sunset? I'm never around to watch it and it's beautiful!" hayes said. I heard him whisper something after he said beautiful. It sounded a lot like he said "like you." "yes of course!" and we walked up a hill... smiling.

We sat down and the sun was big. red, yellow, pink, and orange, all mixed together in the sky. beautiful. I couldn't wish for anything more than to be sitting next to hayes grier during a sunset. "Well... this is nice. I never get around to be able to sit next to a beautiful girl like you and watch this. this sunset." hayes said in a calm voice. I took a deep breathe and said "hayes...? I wanted to tell you something." "sure." he replied. "Well, the first time I ever saw you in... I kinda fell in love. Then you started to make vines... that's when I knew I didn't really ever have a chance." I stopped talking. there was a silence. "Oh... well Christi? it doesn't matter whether I'm famous or poor... I'll always be me and you shouldn't worry that you will never have a chance with me. anything is possible." hayes said. I looked him in the eyes. he looked straight back.

We just sat there. The sun was beginning to get lower in the sky. "hey umm Christi?" "yea hayes?" I responded. "Well... your beautiful inside and out. Your amazing in every way and well... would you like to go out with me?" hayes asked sheepishly. Hayes grier just asked ME out. I pinched myself again. I'm not sleeping. "hayes... of course I would." Right then and there, we hugged. Having Hayes hug me is like hugging a huge soft teddy bear. He had his arm around me and we watched the sun go down. It was true love.
