It began to get dark. Hayes walked me to where my soccer things were and we hugged again. "bye Christi! I'll see you tomorrow... I love you." said hayes as he picked up my soccer bag for me. "I love you to hayes, bye." I said and I gave him a kiss on his cheek.

That night when I was lying in bed, I was playing on my phone and texting hayes. then all of a sudden I got a text from katie. it said: What the heck Christi?!? Your dating hayes and you lied to me! you lied straight to my face and said that you didn't even like him! wow your a great friend. bye.

Oh my gosh... I texted her back asking how she knew and she sent me a photo that hayes must've took while we were at the park. it was of us and in the comments below he wrote: I love this amazing girl. my new gf!<3

Thousands if not millions of people know now that I'm dating hayes. I just lost my best friend. I made a terrible mistake.

*next day at school

I saw Katie throughout the day. she never looked at me though. Hayes say with me at lunch and we hugged a lot. Tons of kids came up to me and congratulated me on my new bf but I wasn't happy at all. I faked a smile and laughs and when the bell rang, I ran straight home. I threw my backpack down, ran upstairs and shut the door.

I couldn't take this anymore. I felt broken inside and I wanted things to be normal. Like they used to be.

*texting

To Katie: hey katie. PLZ meet me at the park at 4. thx.

It was 3:55 and I headed for the park. I had no clue if she would even come let alone even read my text. Finally I made it to the park and looked around to see if I could spot her. in the distance I saw a bright green sweatshirt. the color that she always wears. it was katie.

"Katie!" I yelled hoping she heard me. she turned around. I ran up to her, "Katie I'm so glad you came. I need to talk to you!" She had no reaction or expression. it was silent. I think I lost my best friend for ever.
