Alexandra's POV

After I left Aaron I went to where the archers were training and talked to them. "So we are a long range team?" Arthur asked.

"Yes, it will be our job to make sure none of our enemies escape," I replied.

"Sounds like fun," Bruce replied.

"We will ride at dawn, just behind Aaron's team and before Elliot's. We need to get in postion as fast as possible, we will need to surround the entire area," I said.

"Easy," they replied.

"Good, then I expect you all to be up before dawn," I said.

"But..." Arthur began.

"Before dawn," I said again.

"Yes ma'am," they said and then they walked away. I turned around and saw Christine with her hands on her hips.

"You are not going anywhere," she said.

"Elliot asked me," I said as I walked past her, but she grabbed my arm and pulled me around to look at her.

"You just got back and you were injured, your injury hasn't had any time to heal and not to mention-," she said.

"Shut up," I interrupted. "Christine, I'm long range. I won't be in the actual fight, I will be high up and out of the way and Elliot needs my help on this and nothing you say is going to stop me."

"And if I tell Elliot?" she asked.

"You would not dare," I said.

"Try me," she replied.

"Christine, just let me do this," I said.

"And then you will tell the guild?"

"And then I will tell the guild."

"I did not want to have to make you do this, but you have to stay safe Alex if not for Aaron's sake than mine. You and Lynn are all I have."

"I know, but please Christine."

"Very well, get some rest, you will need to be at your best," she walked away.

"She's mad," Joel commented.

"She has every right to be," I replied.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

"Can't say right now, Joel how good is your archery?"

"Could be worse."

"Want to come with me and my team tomorrow?"

"I was waiting for you to ask."

"Then get ready, we leave at dawn..."

"Be up before it," he finished.

"Good, I am going to my room," I replied and then that is exactly what I did. I stopped before I walked into my room and stared at Aaron's door. I could not help, but be worried. Something about tomorrow made me uneasy.

I did not get to sleep. I was so worried about what was going to happen. I gave up around one-o'clock in the morning and went down to the training area.

"You should get to sleep," Christine said.

"Why are you awake?" I asked.

"I could ask you the same thing," she replied.

"I cannot sleep, now you," I said.

"I have not been able to sleep well, walks help," she replied. "You seemed worried, what is wrong?"
