Aaron's POV

It had been a couple weeks since I had made contact with Alex. I was honestly worried about her. I had not had time to see her, nor was I allowed, knowing the mission that she was on. I sighed and entered the headquarters again.

That entire place was starting to become familiar to me now that I had spent some time there on the top part observing everything. I still was cautious though because they could look up at anytime and I could make a wrong move and get caught. I balanced myself along the beams above the men that were walking below me and I explored some of the areas I was not able to do the weeks before. There was too much activity recently and I did not want to risk compromising the mission.

I looked down and noticed two people that were dressed differently than the other men that I had seen, one of them was a woman and the other was a man. I decided to follow them, and see what I could find. I followed at a distance, not sure if the wood under my feet would creek. As usual, I did not want to get caught, especially this deep into their little fortress, and in their country. There was really no escape for me if I did get spotted.

Missions like this I honestly did not like doing. One slip up and everything would most likely end in the blink of an eye. They turned left into another room and I followed, everything was accessible from the top, it made it way to easy to observe everything. I hid where the light from the window that was in the room would not hit me. I laid down against the bar, watching and listening.

"So is everything prepared for departure?" the main man asked.

The woman nodded. "Yes sure, the Blacks do not even know we are coming," she said, her hair was as dark as night and her eyes the brightest of blue.

"That is good to hear, taking the castle will be the simplest of tasks," the man replied. The other man stepped forward.

"Will you be accompanying us to watch the king fall?" the woman asked.

The man put his hand up to his chin in thought. "I suppose I could, it would be nice to see our enemy fall. Besides, I think everything here is doing just fine, no one knows that we're here."

That is where you are wrong, I thought to myself before listening again.

"The ship will leave in about two hours time, we will wait for you if needed the ship's name is The Elizabeth," the other man said.

The other male nodded. "I will be there in about an hour anyways, why not be there early?"

That's when I left, I need to get there as soon as possible. I did not know my way around the city that well, but I at least knew where the port was that would be heading out. As quickly and quietly I headed out of their headquarters and went into the city. I kept my distance from people, and from the light. Any activity that I would do would draw attention to myself, for I did not exactly look like every other commoner here in black clothing.

I found a building tall enough to climb and look around. I looked around, observing every little detail that I saw, the port looked about a ten minute walk. I then looked up and brought my hand to my mouth and whistled between my fingers. We had a specific falcon for each mission, this spying falcon would go to each individual spy here, hopefully they would be in one spot so I could contact them at once.

The falcon came and I held out my arm, while getting out a piece of paper to write down what I had learned and told them not to contact me again. I then whistled three different pitches and another falcon appeared. This was the one was a lot faster than the rest, and would head back to the guild to tell them of the plans that I had found out about.

Doing the same thing on what I did with the other falcon I let it go. I continued my trek through the city. As I predicted it took my about a ten minute time to reach the port. The Elizabeth was there, its huge sails were slightly larger than the other ships that were there. It looked like a large transport ship along with that of noble travel.

I looked at the ship where I was, it looked like it would part soon. I wasted no time in sneaking down into the water and swimming toward the ship. I grabbed onto the edge of the back and hoisted myself up onto the ship. I needed to somehow slow the ship down for a while so that the message could get to the guild before the ship landed. If I could even end it here I would.

I thought for a while before I felt the ship jerk and saw all the ropes were disconnected from the ship. I held on as it turned and headed out of port. Well, looks like slowing it down would be enough.

I climbed up onto the ship and found that one of the canon windows were opened. Listening for a long while I heard everyone was up on deck being lecutured. I slipped into the ship and found a place to hide. Not a moment too soon, for when I found it, I heard everyone come down and start working of everything that needed to be done. I knew it would be about a week or two before we hit England and their plan would be put into action, however I did not know if it already has, and that is what worried me.

A about a week went by, and I had made progress on stalling the ship. It started with a "mysterious" fire that went ablaze in the kitchen part underneath the ship, then the stealing of important documents in the quarters of the guest. It resulted in two deaths, but I still continued to take some papers here and there. I also threw men overboard, catching them off guard and hauling them over in the middle of the night; that's when no one wanted to take night shifts anymore.

I was feeling the weakness of hunger, not being able to take as much food as needed weakened my body. Every chance I got I would at least take a peice of bread. I needed something, and I had a little cup for water that I would take in the middle of the night while everyone was sleeping.

I sighed, I was getting no where with information, everyone talked about the same thing: how the castle would be taken when they arrive. I could not let that happen.

I heard a commotion on the top of the deck, and decided to see what was happening. I did not make it to the top, for I saw that there was a ship that was heading toward us. I reconized it as an English ship. I could not help but almost yell out in joy, I wanted off this hell hole.

I did not move from my spot as men came down, looks like I should start something so that it would be easier to take control of the ship. I took out two of my daggers and charged at one of the men popping out of the shadows and catching him right in the eye.

I let him scream as I took it out and proceeded to go after the other man who was fumbling with his sword to try and block my upcoming assult. I did not let him get the chance for I brought the dagger to his throat and stabbed it. At this point people were yelling, telling everyone that I had a presence here.

I would not let the king be harmed, that was for sure.
