~Natsu~
“WHAT?!” Natsu stared at Lucy, outraged. “There's no way I'm letting that happen!” He shouted, turning his glare onto Eliana.
“You can't stop me,”she said, calmly.
“Why do you even want to bond your soul to Lucy's? We were going to help you, so why ruin that?” He asked.
“If I can successfully bond my and Lucy's souls, then I won't need you to unseal my magic. I'll have Lucy's magic energy to use as my own.”
“Will that even work? Wasn't your magic sealed off to begin with because your body couldn't handle it?” Natsu asked, remembering what Lucy had told him.
“Lucy is a human, so it will be different this time,” Eliana said, “and I'm a lot stronger than I was back then. I'll be able to handle it. Actually, I'll be able to harness Lucy's power better than she can.”
“I don't think so,” Lucy snapped.
“We'll see,” Eliana said, turning away from them once more. She grabbed two cords from the table before returning to stand in front of Natsu. Looking at them more closely, he could see that at one end of each cord was a small suction-cup-like protrusion, and on the other was a small needle only about the size of the end of a thumbtack. Before he could question what she was going to use them for, she stuck both of the suction cups to his temples. Natsu immediately felt his magic energy begin to swirl inside his body. To his shock, Eliana jammed the needle ends into her wrists, connecting the two of them through the cords attached to their bodies.
Suddenly, the swirling of his magic energy stopped, then proceed to shoot into the cords—and into Eliana's body. He shouted in surprised pain, willing his magic to come back to him, or at least to slow down the speed at which Eliana was pulling it from his body.
“Natsu!” Lucy shouted, worriedly. The sound of her voice reminded him that he had to free himself and save her. There's no way I'm letting Eliana steel Lucy's soul! I can't just let her go that easily!
“Don't worry, Luce,” Natsu gasped, turning his head so he could look into her beautiful brown eyes. With a grin, he pulled as hard as he could against his chains. He had momentarily forgotten about one of them being broken, but Lucy's voice had cleared his head. With a loud creak and a few sparks, the chain restraining his right hand snapped, freeing that arm.
Using the force from his pulling and the release of his restraint, he balled his fist and punched Eliana square in the jaw. The force threw her back, ripping the suction cups from his temples as she fell. While she was down, Natsu took the opportunity to face his remaining shackle. He placed his feet on the wall, and pushed as hard as he could, falling to the floor with an oompf! when the other chain finally gave way and snapped.
“Nice going!” Lucy cheered. “Now get me out of here so I can help you with Eliana.”
“NO!” Eliana shrieked, tackling Natsu just as he stood up. “I won't let you ruin this! Not when I'm so close to being free!”
“And I'm not going to let you have Lucy!” Natsu shouted, throwing her off of him. He stumbled slightly when he faced her, feeling suddenly dizzy and weak. “What's—”
“I drained nearly all of your magic energy,” Eliana laughed. “There's no way you can fight me in that state.”
“I'm still stronger than you are,” Natsu grinned, forcing his body to straighten, “even with most of my magic gone.”
Eliana frowned, her lavender eyes darkening in anger. “Then prove it.”
Enveloping his fists in fire, Natsu ran at her, pulling his right fist back. “Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!” He shouted, using the flames around his fist to increase the strength of his punch as he attempted to hit Eliana. She dodged his attack with a chuckle, catching his arm and flipping him over her head. His body slammed into the ground, breaking the hard cement floor beneath him.
