Alice kicked a rock in her way. Now that she was out of calm serene atmosphere of grandma's house, her anger and annoyance began to sink in. With every single step her anger grew. How could grandma allow Alex to do something so dangerous?! Alice let out a frustrated growl. She couldn't let Alex enter the forest, but everyone else seemed to think otherwise. She had thought that grandma at the very least would be on her side. She kicked another rock out of her way as har as she could. She watched it as it flew through the air, out of the boundary of grandma's safe forest. Her eyes followed it until it disappeared from sight. She shivered looking at the pure danger the rock entered.

Her anger clouded his thoughts.

At the back of her mind,

A crazy idea formed.

Alex was going to go there right?

If he was going, then she was going too. She wasn't scared. Just wait untill they realise where she was. Perhaps then they would reconsider allowing Alex to join the hunters.

With that, Alice pushed aside the fear that was beginning to form in her mind and allowed her anger to fuel her, as she ran past the boundary of the saftey of grandma's following the rock. Before she knew it, it was cold, and it was so dark she couldnt see where she was going. A voice at the back of her head told her that this was stupid and that she should turn back while she could. She ignored that voice and continued running. What was so good about joining the hunters anyway?! What was so good about running around this bloody creepy forest?! Alice continued to run until she felt her foot hit something hard causing her to trip. She fell face down into the damp forest floor. She looked for the thing she tripped on. It seemed to be a rock. Hastily she got up. Upon falling, she seemed to have snapped completely out of her angry state. Now, she could feel the cold air sink in. Along with the dark eerie atmosphere in the forest, it scared any courage she had away. She looked desperately for the way she came. She couldn't have covered that much distance.

Trees.

Just trees. It looked the same in every direction. Immediately she felt the fear and regret kicking in.

"Help!" she called.

There was no answer. Not even a sound. Just her fast breathing from the steadily forming panic. Alice turned feeling a chill down her spine. She didn't feel safe. she mentally cursed herself for letting her anger get the better of her. Tears of frustration were forming in her eyes. She wiped them away quickly knowing they wouldnt help her.

"Help!" she called again.

She didn't dare venture deeper into the forest in fear of getting more lost. She let out a shaky breath. Usually by this time she eould be in school. With her friends. Nice and safe. She shivered. She knew that it would have been less than twenty minutes ago that she had left grandma's house. She also knew that no one would come looking for her until alot later tonight. She was just about to start crying until she heard a noise breaking the silence of the forest.
